Anybody else noticing that bacon ALWAYS seems to be thick cut now?

Not sure what everyone else is seeing in their grocery stores around the country, but where I am it seems like thick cut bacon is now the standard for all bacon, in just about every store. Like it used to be that you could get regular thinner sliced, but I only seem to find thick cut even with Smithfield. Anybody else noticing this?

I prefer thick cut because it's easier to separate and cook, I usually bake it. Where I live, I actually have trouble finding it.

Wow. I can't get away from it here. I've done the oven think with it too yeah. Sometimes helps.

I started baking it because of the smell and mess from frying it. My hair would smell like it, my clothes smell like it and the splattering grease lol

I became a master at separating the stuff. I found that I don’t really like thick cut all that much. Only on my women😝
