I just ate this tomato-like fruit called persimmon. It was juicy and sweet like honey. Delicious!

When I lived in the Andes mountains in Ecuador, there was a fruity oatmeal drink (Colada de avena con naranjilla) made with persimmons, naranjilla. It is soooo delicious and really hits the spot on the cold Andean nights and early mornings.

I like them, they've a pleasant fragrant flavour and intresting texture. Only downside is they're a little pricey compared to other fruits
