Which school lunch day would you choose for a free meal and why?

Ok it's Friday so let's have a fun quiz.
I typed school menu into google and screenshotted the first image with a nice picture. The school caters for kids 4-11 but that's not important.

What is important is what day your popping in for lunch. Don't worry about costs because all school meals are free here. (Wine and beer is extra)

Last past couple months I have been finding out what all our box foods are made from


What is in our fast foods and I'm coming to find out that just about everything nowadays is so fake and it's all made from chemicals how they can let this happen I don't have a clue that you just woke me up

And now this poor kids they don't even know what they're eating as long as it has salt and flavor and looks real they're going to eat it

They don't have a clue their parents don't have a clue this is just wrong thank you for your question

With all your food questions I think you still make things from scratch so you know exactly what's in it and that's a good thing
but there are so many lazy people that just buy fast food they take the quick and easy box food packaged foods that are not even real and feed it to there kids

Roast with potatoes, veg and gravy always reminds me of British school lunches, simple but comforting. I love how everything ends up mixing on the plate into one big, savory mess. I’d definitely go for extra gravy and dessert. Feels like the coziest, most satisfying option of the week 😋

They're all gross... and Quorn fed to a child or me might as well be a war crime. Thursday is the least offensive but veggie curry is also a war crime.

Considering it's UK, I'm gonna be pretty cautious with what's cooked there. Considering it's school meal, I'm gonna choose the simplest possible stuff to mitigate failed recipe risks.

Conclusion: Thursday's tomato pasta.

Well, it's not easy to pick just one, I like veggie curry with rice, but I also like Glamorgan sausage with mashed potatoes & gravy. The other options are great too.

I always did look older for my age, so my age wouldn't be a problem.

I'm sorry Poppy I rarely had school meals, I can probably count the number of dinners I had on one hand.

So I'm not going to change now, even with the encouragement of beer and wine with the meal.

But saying that a nice vintage wine might make all the difference.
