World Cup or Wimbledon?

There's only two major events going on at the minute, the World Cup and Wimbledon. But the real question on everyone's lips is which has the best snacks.

Wimbledon. Pimms, scones, strawberries, and cream

World Cup. Beer, crisps, nuts, pork scratchings

I prefer the Tour de France snacks.

Beaujolais, Champagne, Bourgogne, croissants, chocolate filled pain au chocolat, macarons cookies filled with cream, éclair choux pastry with flavoured cream, madeleine small shell shaped sponge cakes, and mille-feuille a classic pastry.

But if I must choose from your choice then the Pimms, also scones with strawberries and cream.

I'm just being sophisticated, give me the beer and crisps everytime!

US has a much larger selection, though Wimbledon's strawberries and cream is probably the best snack overall

Think smoky grilled kebabs, loaded nachos, spicy wings, fries drowned in sauces, and ice-cold beer or soda. It feels like a street food festival.

Wimbledon is more elegant: strawberries and cream, Pimm’s, tea sandwiches, scones, maybe champagne. 🎾

For comfort and flavor explosions, I’d choose World Cup snacks every time.
