A Welshbourgeois is a French creation that combines a classic Welsh rarebit with an American all-time favourite, the beef burger, and given it a French twist e. g. a fancy name.

But would you eat this cheesey creation?

(Rarebit = roux+beer+mustard+Worcestershire sauce+loads of cheese)

For example, you’re prepping a salad to have with dinner. Are you popping tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, etc in your mouth as you make the salad?

For me, guilty as charged.

On researching my previous question I found countless photos of mac and cheese boxes. I've never had these but I'm guessing you add water and boil or something. My question is why? Any idiot can boil pasta and a basic cheese sauce is virtually foolproof, roux + liquid + cheese + more cheese. Yet there's hundreds of brands of these boxes which suggests people actually but them, but why?

I'm trying to eat a bit more healthy, and that means upping my veg intake. So tonight, I made tatws popty with sausages and served it with cauliflower cheese. That's 6 vegetables so I reckon it's healthy and going to help me shed a pound or two.

But it got me thinking, in the UK cauliflower cheese is a common side dish while in America it's mostly mac & cheese. Am I right?

Back in the old days, food pierced on a cocktail stick was the height of culinary sophistication. Cubes of pineapple, cheese, hotdogs, pickled onions, even glanced cherries, were all impaled on a cocktail stick.
