Depends what I'm cooking but I used butter more for potatoes were veggies I use olive oil but baking is only butter
I usually prefer olive oil because it is lighter and easier to digest. Its wonderful smell and taste in salads and vegetable dishes remind me of nature. But nothing can replace butter spread on warm bread in the morning. The two have different places, actually.
I like both, they are the healthiest cooking fats.

Both butter and olive oil have their unique place in the culinary world.
