Trending & News Your favorite sort of oil for cooking and baking?

It depends on the dish... If I need a high heat neutral oil for cooking I use canola oil, else olive oil
Olive oil. That’s all I use. I don’t deep fry things so no need for anything else.
Even for baking cookies?
I get it, I prefer preparing savory food too.
You're welcome
Cold-pressed olive oil for everything.
I use a lot of olive oils.
In my kitchen, I often find myself reaching for olive oil when cooking, particularly for Italian dishes. It brings a rich, fruity flavor that's essential for authentic taste. When exploring Asian or Japanese cuisine, I enjoy using sesame oil for its nutty aroma, which adds depth to stir-fries and marinades. For baking, I prefer using neutral oils like sunflower or canola, which allow the primary flavors to shine through without overpowering. 🌿🥘

@drygermanguy You can't use cold-pressed olive oil for most cooking, it burns at a low temperature.
