For fifteen years, this year, I have been photographing my food experiences. It started because I love to cook and the pictures I was taking when I started looked like crap. Then I started really getting into food styling and using food props like ceramics, linens, vintage cutlery, and backdrops to really make my food standout and the feedback from others has been amazing. I am also the one on vacation that takes a few pictures of each meal because I want to remember it just like I would taking a photo of a beach I'd never been to.

There are however, a few people who will always say this is frivolous disruptive behavior and ruins dining for all of us. Do you agree or are you all for taking a few photos?

I think it's just a nice way to enjoy the memories of a dish or the artful/delicious way the chef made a wonderful meal
I think it's annoying and disruptive to the dining experience to whip out a camera and start shooting as soon as your plate hits the table
