to me those people seems didn't do anything on their life except eating
They're letting life slip by and missing out on experiences because they're too busy looking for their phone when they should just be looking. This is backed up by a couple of studies where two groups are sent round a place new to them. Half are asked to capture it with photos and video on their phone. The other half have their phone taken for the duration of the visit. At the end both groups are given a quiz on what was in the attraction. The ones taking photos scored really badly because they were concentrating on their phones, and not experiencing, while those without phones who looked and took in got good scores because they were taking it in.

Some post food pictures !!
I don’t see why this questions needs an answer. At least they are not pretending to be happy , it means they are enjoying food at least did real
Serving is an art in itself. And with such people, restaurants are actually taking efforts to serve the food better.
Which improves the dining experience.
And, it is because of such people that we get to know amazing places as well!
Hence, even if I felt somewhat different earlier, I feel positive about them now.
I actually like the food posts from people much more than all the selfies from the chicks who ignore the very people they want attention from. At least the food people are showing us what they like or even what they made.

Lol, my cousin went through a phase where he was an Instagram foodie. Whenever we were out as a bunch of cousins, we'd give him a chance to get a few good pics then we'd all shove our hands or forks into frame for the last one, lol.
Foodie instagramers are some of the most social people I know. I'm not a very social media heavy person, so I don't know how much of their brain the hobby takes, but the ones I know personally are pretty active.
There used to be a group who'd get together and go on short road trips every weekend to foodie events around the province. A group makes it easier to order a large variety, split the bill, and everyone gets content and food without wasting any.
The group I knew also was very big into outdoors and physical activity. They knew weekend chow fests needed week long workouts, lol!If my food is pretty then I like to take a picture of it. I dont post it on social media but I do send it to my family on our group chat haha
Some people just like to commemorate things with photos. It's a harmless habit, let them do it. Doesn't make them boring regardless lol we live in a digital world!I have no shame in taking a pic when whatever I ordered at a restaurant looks really freaking awesome and I want to remember it. And, another scenario would be if I made something I'm proud of.
I never post them on social though. I just figure people don't care what I'm eating. 😅that doesn't mean they don't do anything except eat... some people enjoy their meals or they created something they're proud of. or just posting to show others something they did today. it's not that deep bro...
I'm a photography enthusiast, so I like these photos, even though there are other types of photos that I prefer. If the photos are good, then I have no problem with it.
Totally stupid. Its like a cry for validation and likes 👍🏼….”look at me! Look what fixed, bought, or ate” a complete turn off. Who cares? I had a friend who would do that and i had to stuff those thoughts down out of respect. We aren't friends anymore for different reasons.
I love pictures of food, so I enjoy it. I take pictures of my own food sometimes, when it looks really good, but I don't usually post any. They're just because I wanted to take a picture.
food is life. I'm a proud food lover and I love food pics, talking about food and seeing foods on sm that I might never try in my life.
I pity the person waiting for them to complete their photo session before they could get their hands on the feast.
I like seeing different kinds of food so I particularly like this kinds of social media accounts. It’s way better than some boy posting gym and bathroom mirror selfies or obsessing over stupid cars
I find them incredibly boring. It's not like if you can cook and set food nicely on a plate you're more worthy than others in Society. It's very showy!!
Sometimes it irritates me a bit, when they try to be pretentious about it, but it's fine if it's something cool.
They want to share that part of their life, usually the food looks good, so they take a picture or do a short video of it.
It’s weird. I only send pictures of food as invitation to come get it.
Just that they're hungry for attention unless the food or desert is really cute
Their life is boring and they have nothing else to post I guess
I'd think it was kinda sus posting everything they eat online
I don't get taking photos of food in restaurants.
I'll take photos if it's something i made cause i like keeping note of things I cook. But in a restaurant, it just seems pretentious. It means they like to remember the flavors and tastes of their x mesls.
Dumbest thing in history of humanity. This makes me support the AI censorship in Metal Gear Solid 2.
You think someone's social media is an accurate representation of their life as a whole? Seems pretty dumb.
