What does sassiness mean or represent in girls?

I'm just curious what everyone else has to say. To me when I meet a girl that is unnecessarily sassy, I think it seems to show that she's the female equivalent of when a male pushes others to get what he wants.

So basically, are sassy females that way for selfish reasons, to get their way more often because they can get away with it? I hardly believe that anyone is JUST like that for no other reasons.

A sassy person thinks they're better than everyone else and step on people to do it. They usually don't say the nieces things either.
An ambitious person, which a lot of people seem to confused about, is someone that works hard, has big goals, doesn't take crap but is also nice to people. They might not like everyone but they aren't about to step on others to make themselves bigger.

I think a sassy girl is a girl that's smart, that knows what she wants and how to get it, isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Overall, an ambitious type of woman.

So is there a difference between ambition and sass? Ambition isn't something traditionally seen in women, so I think that's why it seems odd to a lot of people. But I don't know, I think a woman who is confident vs. a woman who is sassy would appear very different if they were in the same room with each other.

A sassy girl is a girl who knows what she wants and is determined to get it. She genuinely doesn't mean to come out bitchy but if you push her around she will bite back.
