Do girls only date guys that are the same height as them or taller?

I'm 5'1 and 24 years old so I know I stopped growing, I say my looks are probably average.

I look around no matter where I live (in Canada any way) 80% of the time if not more the guy is usually the same height or taller than the guy.

I guess what I want to know is if it's true or do girls look at shorter guys and assume they won't be any good in bed? (I heard that somewhere)

PS: I'm also known as the strong silent type or now days "the nice guy"

Well I am 5'1 and I think I am short and I don't think I would date a guy that is my height. 5'6 or taller, that's just what I find attractive I wan't them to be taller than me. I don't know anything about being bad in bed b.c. he is short. and if you are always in your work clothes ye that doesn't help you out or the cologne. no matter what height the guy is if he is just always in work clothes and doesn't smell that great is not attractive. Also strong and silent type to me anyways is a turn off just b.c. I am more on a silent side, so the guy needs to be more outgoing. You need to come out of your shell and be more talkative and show your personallity etc. just b.c. you have the height working against you, if a guy has a strong personality and confidence and get's me interested in him I would get over the whole height thing ( but I am 5'1 I don't know abt girls that are taller)

Sometimes girls prefer men taller than them, but not all.

I don't think height really means anything in bed though- I have not once looked at a guy, measured his height, and then decided whether or not he was good in bed. There are plenty of women out there who don't even bother to try and guess whether or not a guy is good in bed until they have at least spoken to them.

My family comes with a history of a lot of the girls being tall and plenty of them are more than willing to date someone shorter than them. As long as they're willing to not tease them about their height.

Love short guys. Coming from a tall family (and being the short one by at least four inches) I'm not attracted to tall guys. So I like guys under 5'9", generally I like guys taller than me (5'5") but I could definitely go with a shorter guy if I liked him.

Generally, women will look to date a man taller than them. It's not a rock hard rule, though, since I have dated girls taller than me and I have friends who have done the same. However, I think there is probably still a range that girls are comfortable with. If a guy is 4 or 5 inches shorter than a girl, I think that most girls would prefer against that. Honestly, though, I've found that girls are pretty willing to bend the "rules" for a guy that they're really into.

There are a ton of girls who are 5'2 - 5'4 and I would be that's totally within an acceptable range for a guy like you. Just be a good guy and show her a good personality, and she won't even notice the height.

As the answerer said, there are many who are 5"2 to 5"4. Perhaps get some boots or something to add an extra inch or two to your height. I'm 5"7 and I wear boots to make me 5"8.5.

I won't lie to you, lots of women are prejudiced against short men, though some would never ever admit it, so you just have to be that much better at everything else.

I hear that cloths is a good way to start but I'm usually in my ugly work unifoarm. and I don't put on calone very often because it usually makes my nose itch but I will if it works.

not gonna lie... I only go for guys taller than me.. it had nothing to do with the fact that I think shorter guys are bad in bed, its just a security thing I guess...

Most girls do want taller guys, but it still depends on the over all package. I know a girl that's dated a string of guys shorter than her from 5' - 5'3". So it could be harder to get girls, but if you stay confident you should still have a chance, maybe even a quite good one.
