What do guys think of 'tough/mean' girls aka girls with a bit of sass/attitude?

Title says it all, just wondering what boys think of girls with an edge and who can hold her own. Is it actually attractive?

I think it's extremely attractive. Some guys don't, but do YOU really want to sacrifice YOUR strong abilities because of a stupid Neanderthal stereotype? If some guys are put off by YOUR strength, they aren't worth YOUR time. I love strong dominant WOMEN, and I am a confident man, who simply adores strong, assertive WOMEN. There are guys out there who like minded, but may have trouble admitting it. Times are changing, now and I'm glad, because it's becoming more common now for strong young WOMEN to stand up, and tell guys it ok if they are lead by, as long as She leads wisely.

My boyfriend always says that he doesn't like how soppy I get sometimes and I feel lately that I've grown into a really strong person that can lead him instead of the other way round but because I haven't seen him in a while I'm worried it won't go down well. I've always been a serious girl and he isn't a big fan of that either so maybe this will switch things up

Sometimes. I mean if there's a strong independent woman who ain't need no man, but she's also really nice and fun to be around sure its attractive but if she's rude and just a bitch then no, no its not. Not sure which one of those you meant.

I used to be very aggressive and I still am for the most part but improved a lot in the last 4 years. I think tough girls are usually girls that have been hurt in the past and have not recovered from it yet so they rub people in unpleasant ways.

That's a good quality, but some women with their "I don't need no man I'm an independent woman!" Attitude isn't attractive. On the flip side being totally dependent and a push over isn't attractive either.
