I don't write anyone off. I like all kinds of people and I judge people by who they are as individuals. I don't look at a guy and decide immediately that I'm not interested because he's a jock, before getting to know him. I mean if you've got a good head on your shoulders and you've got other hobbies or interests, aside from sports, that we have in common, then it's totally possible that I'd be into you. I'm very into creativity and books and cooking. I'm not into sports in general though. I played soccer for seven years, but I'm not an athlete. I don't give a crap about football or baseball or any other sport I'm not actively PLAYING. I'd probably go to a game with you or watch one with you on tv, but it's because I'd want to share in something YOU enjoy. I'm not very attracted to super ripped guys either. The guys in the picture you posted aren't really my cup of tea, attraction wise, just because of the huge muscle factor. But they're also just male models to me. They're paid to look that way, haha. One can't really say whether all or any of them are actually jocks.

Your TYPICAL jock, and I can't stress 'typical' enough, I don't have much in common with. They tend not to be interested in, or even very polite to my kind of girl anyway. So that kind of puts me off from the start. Don't get me wrong, I have friends who are jocks, and I befriend all kinds of people. But I befriend people who are like-minded in that they don't write me off just because I seem totally different from them on the surface. Don't give me the time of day, I won't give you the time of day.

It depends on the guy. You can't judge them all and make a blanket statement about them just because they play sports. The guys in your pics are just male models to me.

When I was in high school I didn't really care it depended on the guy. There were the stereotypical dumb jerks who thought every girl should drop their panties just because they threw a ball around - I didn't like those. But then there were good guys that were decent people - I liked them. Usually they are hot because they have nice bodies and are confident because they're part of a team and they have a close bond like brothers. But being a jock simply doesn't mean that the guy is OMG material just because he plays sports.

Um, thanks for the picture of the scantily clad men, but it's just a bunch of fit guys in sunglasses, not necessarily jocks. They're models, and they look like models.

I think jocks are just guys who play sports... the pic you showed is more like models who work out and think they are soo hot in their underwear and cowboy boots... : P they come off as the high standard male prototype etc
