What does it mean when a girl keeps turning around to look at you?

This girl I really like who is in my class, we have been friends for a few months now and we have talked heaps. Anyway I was sitting behind her in class and for no reason she kept on turning around and glancing at me quickly. She was also doing this when we were walking to the next class. I have caught her looking at me and she looks away very quickly. I have seen her looking out the corner of her eyes looking at me and putting on a shy smile. She become weird around me such as avoiding time alone with me, she gives the other guys more attention than me. She has brushed her foot against my leg and said sorry when I was sitting next to her that has happened more than once; her legs were crossed and foot pointing towards me when that happened. The foot was right in my leg space. There just seems to be this awkwardness between the two of us which has come out of nowhere. She can barely make eye contact with me. I have touched her foot with my leg to see her reaction and she didn't move her foot away from me.

She likes you, no doubt about that but she's too afraid you don't like her back to make any move. It's not odd that she avoids alone time with you, she's still new to this field and is shy about being alone with you in case she makes it too obvious she likes you, but (as I said before) she thinks you may not be into her. Best thing to do would be to talk to her often and adding her on Facebook. Start off small: talk about your class, homework, classmates, etc. Eventually when you feel you're more than acquaintances, speak to her more, she'll be less nervous being around you when you're both alone.

It could mean she's into you. It could mean she found out you are into her and she doesn't know how to let you down. As always with stuff like this, just ask her out. If she says yes, great. If she declines, at least you can move on.
