I don't judge, we've all done things we're ashamed of. No woman likes having to sell their body for money. But, it's either that or they starve.

Things turn to shit for people.. You look at a 'prostitute' and most people's instant reactions are they suck at life of they're stupid.

Bad things happen to good people all the time. They could be in that situation for any number of reasons. Their house could have been destroyed, they could have lost their job, they could have been kicked out of their apartment for their bf, they could be forced into it ('pimps').
It could be anything. Prejudice is everywhere.

I don't look down on them but I do fear for their situations for those who are involved in them. A lot of them are on drugs, not safe, etc. I'm totally against people who force girls into them against their will, especially underage ones.

With that said, I have no real opinion on someone who voluntarily goes through with it safely and legitimately. I wouldn't date one or use one myself. Should a guy and a girl go through with such a transaction well, that's their business. Me personally, I'm all for uncommitted sex but don't want money involved.

1) There's nothing 'special' about your needs... Girls like sex just as much, we just happen to be able to control our urges better. And 2) Women don't hate prostitutes or look down on them as far as I'm aware. I'd be sorely disappointed if any woman did. We just resent a society that necessitates the existent of a sex trade and the destitute and vulnerable situation that some women find themselves in that requires them to turn to selling themselves and being exploited.

Most prostitutes don't choose their job through choice. Whether it is economic, addiction or worse again pimped or trafficked. I am sorry to ruin any  p*rn  fantasy but the happy hooker is a myth. I am sure 99% would much rather have normal jobs than have to do this. Ever watch docus on sex work that really goes behind the scenes nearly all the sex workers admit they are seriously f***ed up.

Prostitutes are sad people. They whore themselves out for just enough money to live on in poverty, many turn to hard drugs to make it easier (some don't have the choice). I'm sure a good amount of them have faced sexual assault and rape and its not like they can go to the police about it. Prostitution charges can put you into jail for up to a year, then when you get out you can't find an actual job because who will hire someone with prostitution charges on their record? You're back out on the street whoring yourself out to men who want a quick lay.

Also, many prostitutes don't want to actually be prostitutes, they were kidnapped and put into the human sex trafficking system. If they don't do it then they'll turn up dead somewhere.

I don't necessarily look down on prostitutes, just feel bad for them.

There is a difference between someone who is forced into prostitution and someone who is just selling their bodies just to make money. For the ones who arn't forced, if they want to get paid for sex then that is no big deal and people need to stop overreacting to prositiution just becuase it is like "normal sex", just with a little money involved.

Because it's easy to sell yourself out, it's hard getting up and getting a real job. Women profiting on their sexuality is a cop out and makes it harder on the rest of us who don't want to be used and tossed like an old tampon.
