What is it about your crush that makes you like him? I'm curious.

Thanks for asking this question. I've kept my crush a secret for so long that it's nice to get to talk about him... even if it's just anonymous :)

First, I want to say that one of the greatest things about this situation is that I didn't expect to like this guy at all. I was not at all attracted to him at first. I got to know him and realized that he is (in my opinion of course) the hottest and most beautiful guy on the planet, inside and out. I never had a list of expectations or things that I needed a guy to be in order to be date-worthy. In other words, I don't have a "type." I can't fit it all into 2000 characters, but I'll give you some basics.

Personality:
-polite and very nice, always offers to help me with things
-respectful towards me and others in general
-has many interests and hobbies and isn't embarrassed to share them with others even if they are considered nerdy or different from the norm
-has a job and words hard at said job
-loves animals
-very funny, but can also be serious about a lot of things
-is not loud or arrogant... he keeps to himself, but talks a lot when in small group settings
-is shy and awkward around me at times, which i find really cute
-easy to talk to... will talk about anything and everything
-his personality seems compatible to mine
-he really listens to me and makes eye contact while doing so
-not afraid to share feelings
-love for music

Physical:
-short, brown hair
-height i'm guessing is around 5'4-5'5 (same as me)
-not skinny... not super obese. does not have six pack or anything like that
-beautiful gorgeous blue eyes
-nice smile
-always smells good and keeps very good hygiene
- the way his eyes look so soft and gentle when talking/listening to me
-sound of his voice
-the way he stares at me and looks away quickly when I catch him
-the masculine way in which he behaves including the way he stands, moves, is able to lift heavy objects, etc.

I never thought i would be attracted to him but now i melt when i see him.
My type is this.

Personality:
Nice, polite, he needs to be able to make me laugh. Confident and able to stand his ground. Willing to do stupid things for me. Make fun of me while i make fun of him. Like the things i do (art, kpop, etc)

In appearance:
Brown or blonde short hair, taller then me but not super tall. Not fat but not super skinny. Blue or green eye color.

He has been in front of me for 2 years and i didn't realize until one day. We were talking on his walk home and like me, he felt horrible when his family said 'are you stupid!', he cried and i didn't know what to say! After that i realized he wasn't such a bad guy.

At first impression you might think 'oh he is so rude' but he is not. He is passionate about art like me, and we can listen to music together, we hang out. He is a really nice guy and I'm glad he has that trust in me now, when we met he was cold and kinda rude, but now, i go weak at his smile.

Moral: don't look to far because you might just have what you wants right in front of you.

I used to have an idea of a perfect guy (physically and mentally) and i did actually find a guy exactly like what i had always imagined! But there was not attraction whatso ever. He had moles, big brown eyes, pale, freckles, nice lips, tall, funny, weird, has that kind of voice i love, is random, outgoing, and sweet. (Every single thing i love and used to want in a guy. But i just didn't get butterflies or feel attraction towards him... not sure why but it is what it is man
