Girl's Behavior

Looks in my direction but not at me I don't know what to do?

Hello, there is this kind of shy girl in multiple of my classes in high school. We have known each other for a while but we have never really been friends. So during these classes I have with her she is ussualy looking in my direction and I have no clue what it means. She is always looking with these dead kind of no emotion stares not directly at me but what looks like near me. She does this a lot and if I look at her she does nothing and just keeps staring. So my question is what does this mean, since she has been doing it for a couple of months but we don't really talk, I've tried but she is always around her friends and if I join in the conversation she never makes eye contact with me and just looks at her friends. She isn't a rude girl in anyway and I don't think I have offended her in anyway so I just want to know what is up. So when she does give these dead states should I ignore them or should I get her attention of where she looks like she's staring? could she be looking at me with her perfiral vision because her states are always in me by the distance of waving a hand.
