Girls, Question for girls, why is it that when you hug someone, all of a sudden you're OK with your boobs getting smooshed up against them?

For most girls it seems, they get mad if somone they weren't in a relationship with touches their boob, they get mad and embarrassed even when their boobs brush up against someone, but when they hug a guy they're OK with their boobs getting squished against them?

Also, if you're going to say that because the boobs are where they are, it' impossible to hug with them getting squished, girls can give side and gap hugs instead.

If I'm actively engaging in a hug with somebody, I'm okay with my boobs touching their body.

If someone comes up to me and just gropes me, then yeah I'm going to be pissed.

There's a huge difference between a hug and some person just touching me without my permission.

Because you aren't groping us and also, we can't avoid if our boobs get smooshed up against somebody.

Also, side hugs and "gap hugs" are awkward and can make us come across rude or like we don't like you.

Not everybody has that opinion though. I only side hug people who I don't genuinely want to hug, and trying to force a gap in between us comes across like you're trying to pull away from the person and don't truly want to be embraced by them. Personally, I don't see hugging in any way perverse and if a guy does, he can tell me he isn't comfortable with my boobs pressing up against him. It's very different from a guy grabbing your chest since a hug is consensual, being aggressively groped is not.

I've never really thought about that before lol and im thinking, when i hug someone i do it intentionally therefore i know what im getting into (boobs pressed up againt chest) and hugs would be awkward if you didn't put chest to chest in my opinion. also when someone touches my boobs without permission and it can be looked at as disrepectfull or when someone it isn't on purpose its embarrassing just cuz ig

A hug isn't somthing that's usually sexual so I have no problem with it. i have had guys who accedentally touched my boob or elbowed me in the boob and I ignore it because they didn't mean to. but if a guy were to touch my boobs on purpose and I didn't want him to I wouldn't like and I would let him know. but hugs aren't somthing that's sexual more of a friendly thing so I have no problems with it.

Well I usually only squish them against a guy on purpose if I am crushing on him or like him a lot, other times its either me giving an awkward hug cuz he initiates it but isn't aggressive or he is a very aggressive huger and my boobs are forced to be squished lol

If we were groped, our problem wouldn't be the fact that you've felt our boobs. Its that you and I aren't in a relationship, yet you feel as though you have the right to feel us up without our permission. When we hug, the boob thing might be an added plus for y'all but its not the main purpose of the hug.

Gap hugs and side hugs suck. But to me there's a big difference between someone grabbing my boob or any part of my body brushing up against them and me actually giving them a hug :)
