Girls, why do you like high heels?

I've even heard girls who are already tall or already have long legs say that they like high heels. Why? They seem so uncomfortable and outlandish.

I hate high heels. I cannot walk in them at all. I am a safety hazard in them and they are a safety hazard to me. I wear boots and flats, but that's it. Well, almost. My main footwear is vans and converse. <3 They hurt my legs and I feel self-conscious about being so tall in them since I'm so short in general.

they are for the most part uncomfortable, which is why i always carry extra flats whenever i'm expected to wear heels to an event lol but we don't wear them for comfort, we wear them because they look good lol

that's the logical answer yes lol but sometimes it's a requirement to wear to an event/meeting etc., also, like i said before some of us girls just like to wear them because we think they look pretty and would make for great pictures. sounds petty, i know but you asked for an answer so i'm giving it to you lol

I don't like them. I'll wear them if I feel it's appropriate to wear them, to a special event or something, but other than that, no. I'm already very tall, I have large feet which makes it hard to find these kinds of shoes without spending tons of money, and they are just the worst things anyone can put on their feet. They throw your whole body out of whack and they damage your feet and toes.

I don't like them because it's incredibly awkward to walk in them, they make you walk with your feet out turned when you take them off (and I think they're bad for your arches too)
And I'm just too tall. Heels look cute but I could never wear them in public and feel comfortable

Because it makes a outfit look more formal. Wearing high heels creates a better posture and can make a woman’s legs look longer and leaner. Also it accentuates the bum.

I actually prefer something with a heel, rather then flats. Flats are very uncomfortable on my feet, so I like to wear boots or sneakers with at least a small heel at the back, (probably 1-2in).. But if I ever wear anything higher than that, it is a close toed shoe, with plenty of room for my feet, and a wide heel. Not those pointy things that crush your toes and take away your balance. I think heels can be okay as long as they are comfortable for you

Uncomfortable and outlandish? No. Depends on what type you wear. If they are uncomfortable then the girl is bearing the pain in the pursuit of fashion/beauty.

I love wearing high heels and I have long legs. I'm 5'4 and my heels range from 2" to 5". I like the way my legs look when wearing heels and the height it gives me.

Being almost 6ft tall I occasionally like to where heels. It completes the outfit. When having a really cute dress in I thing flats would just clash. And some are really comfy. But I'm a sneaker kind of girls. But I like both.

I like the wedges because it feels comfortable. (Some of them.)
And sometimes the dresses are too long, so the high heel helps.

Or the shoes look cute, so I would get them.
