Is it common for girls to eye up a guys crotch?

I was at a Christmas market and i was putting my rubbish in the bin. After i did so i turned round and caught a girl sitting on the bench right beside staring at my crotch area. She then resumed talking to her friend beside her. Do most girls do this as I never catch girls doing so. Also if a girl does this is it in her mind she wants to see your genitals or is it just purely out of interest to see how "big" a guy is?

I don't think it is a common phenomenon since men are generally flaccid on a regular basis and only have a 'bulge' when aroused. So by watching his crotch area you can never guess how much he's packing. It's not like with a woman who wears something that gives her camel toe, where what you see is what you get if you understand what I'm saying. The only possible reason I could think for a woman to stare there is if she thought she saw a bulge and glances to see if the guy is really aroused.

This is what I was thinking... I mean it's unusual as I've never spotted a girl doing it. Usually she'll just look you up and down, play with her hair smile etc but I've never seen a girl do that.

I've never done it but I guess it's kind of like the whole staring at guys asses thing, some girls just like to scope, but not all of us care!
If she's just looking at it, she's probably just thinking about how big it is, maybe she's interested in you and she's mentally undressing you. Girls do that sometimes

I don't know if it's common but I do it all the time, my eyes just go there involuntarily. I'm never really thinking or wondering anything, I just find myself looking there.

Maybe it's just instinctive. .. I've never spotted a girl. doing it myself. I'm not sure if height has anything to do with it... I'm 6'1 maybe she was looking at my long legs, then again maybe not.

Pretty much just similar to a guy checking out the "goods" on a girl.
It's not as common as with guys but it's definitely not unusual for a girl to be checking a guy out at all.

Yeah I agree... i understand girls looking guys all over like his height, size of arms, bum etc but I never thought they'd look specifically at the genital. area. its like guys looking at the vagina instead of a girls bum in a way.
