Girl texts/snapchats me every day but won't talk in person?

This girl (who apparently likes me, but idk) talks to me through snapchat or text every day. She would send me 7-8 snapchats in a row about her life but she doesn't send it to her other close friends.

But she avoids me like the plague in person. Even saying hi is a struggle, it's like I'm a total stranger.
It's annoying, she wasn't like that when we first started talking... what's going on?

Sometimes. Shy girls get more flustered like that. At first u two were strangers. Perfectly fine around u. When she first started having a crush, probablly felt nervous around u. Now that u are paying more attention to her, she doesn't want to screw up. Shoot her a text and say meet me in this halway before school starts for a few min. Then just be like. Hey. I just stopped u to say hi. I just never get to see u in person anymore. Its nice to look at someone in the dace and talk for once. Break the ice a bit. And if it goes well, before u two depart, just say we should to this more often. Better then a screen right? It would also boost her confidence around u because u seem more excited to see her. That makes her feel special

In today's culture, I don't think this is uncommon. Even I'm guilty of it. It's so easy to be confident when you are behind a screen, and talk to people you may be more shy to speak to in person. She's probably just a bit shy but if she talks to you a lot via social media/text/snapchat/etc. then she definitely likes talking to you! I'd keep trying to initiate conversation with her. Once she warms up to you she'll probably open up
