How do shy girls act around guys they like?

Do they ignore their crush and talk to the other guys around them, or do they fall head over heels for this guy they like and do they smother him with attention?

I'm super shy, so here's how I have acted in the past:

If I really like a certain guy, I will try to get to know his friends, or take up some of the activities he does (e. g. join a club that he's part of) so that I can be closer to him. It takes me a long time to work up the nerve to actually talk to him, and until then I will avoid him or barely talk to him at all. If he initiates conversation with me, I will barely say anything and try to leave as soon as possible. After some time of getting to know him slowly, I will have longer and longer conversations until I finally am able to tell him how I feel, or he tells me how he feels. :)

They might be falling head over heels for a guy but they won't make it obvious. For shy girls you have to make the move otherwise they most likely won't take a step forward
