Girls, is 6'2 too tall?

I always feel so awkward and self conscious about my height, I get teased about it a lot and it's not really a huge deal but I feel like I scare girls away since I'm really talk and have a semi-deep voice

It sucks because the one girl that I have a crush on seems to be afraid of me, like I was trying to be nice once and I grabbed a book from the top shelf because she's rather short and she couldn't reach it so I figured I would save her from having to grab a chair to get it and just handed it to her, and when she reached out to get it I noticed her hands were shaking like really badly so I asked if she was okay and she said she was fine but I still felt really bad. We've had a few times like this and I always feel horrible for making her feel so anxious, my friends always tell me to get over it but honestly I can't, probably because this girl has been my only crush since sophomore year (I'm a junior, going into senior year next year)

So I guess my real question is: are tall guys intimidating?

No not all, a lot girls l know love tall guys, even when I was in high school too. :) And the height never made them feel intimated, only safe. Maybe she's just really shy & timid and gets nervous like that when she meets new people. This is my opinion & from what I see and hear but I think some people do get intimated by tall people but maybe she will get use to it, the more u guys run into each other. :) I'm tall myself & people do give u a certain look at first but they will get use to it the more ur around them. :)

No theyre not intimidating to me, in fact I adore tall guys!

And I dont think she's afraid of you, she could be nervous around you because she probably likes you back :-) I always shake when Im around my crush cause I never know what to say or how to act, so my hands shake.

Also I just feel like she's afraid of me because of multiple reasons, like 1) we've physically bumped into each other a few times since she likes to read and sometimes walks around while reading and every time she apologizes like she's afraid that I'm going to be mad or something but most of the time what I say is something like "it's fine, it was my fault sorry" or like "hey sorry are you okay" and I always try to sound friendly but she normally just nods and rushes away. 2) she rarely talks to me, even though we sit at the same tables and have a lot of classes together.

I can't think of any other reasons right now but you get the idea..

Im pretty sure she's very shy and likes you. She probably just doesn't know what to say to you, you could be intimidating her but not because of your height but because she finds you attractive.

That seems like a possibility I guess, she does tend to stare at me a lot when we're in the class where we sit at the same table, I guess I just always figured she was checking to see if I had moved or something I dunno, she had a tendency to glance at me a lot and was always rather fidgety and I always just took it as a sign of her being afraid of me

She doesn't have a reason to be mad at you, do you know her personally? From your past? If not, then she DEFINITELY likes you. Thats how I act around guys I like.

I only know her from high school, and kind of distantly since one of my friends is dating her friend so we do see each other out of classes and even school sometimes since my friend who's dating her friend likes to get everyone together just to hang out and sometimes she comes to those group hangout things so I try to talk to her at those but if she doesn't talk a lot I kind of back off because I don't wanna act like I'm flirting or like pressuring her, since no one likes being pressured

Well I talked to her... she just told me she used to be intimidated by me, she said she wasn't anymore and that it was another reason that she didn't want to say about like how she's always so anxious around me. Sooooo, is that like girl code for something or is it just a no? Either way I'll survive lol, I mean she is really nice when she does talk to me and she is really smart and cute too but if she doesn't like me it's not like I can force her to right?

She admitted that my height was part of it and there was another "girl reason" I didn't ask what that meant since I didn't wanna push it since this is the first time we've talked in awhile

Well.. um... this just happened:

Me: so are you still intimidated by me because if you are I'm sorry, I honestly think you're really cool and would like to get to know you but indolent want you to be afraid of me if we end up being friends, I mean like since my friend is dating your friend we're gonna see each other around and honestly I want to be able to talk to you without feeling like you're feeling really anxious the whole time I'm talking to you..

Her: well you seem cool and I'm gonna be completely honest, I like you. Please don't tease me about this or tell anyone...

Me: oh um, well I won't tease you about it or tell anyone for that matter..

And then she said she had to go do something and our conversation ended..

Um, well I don't know... I mean of course I'm gonna tell her I like her too so she doesn't feel so embarrassed because honestly she was really brave to tell me that since there was the chance that I could have rejected her, so I respect her for that.. and I guess we'll just see what happens?

Maybe she's attracted to you and that's why she was shaking? Just approach her and be friendly tbh and then one day just tell her how you feel.

Don't worry about it!(Take it from a girl that has a crush on a guy that's 6'3--and i'm only 5'4) :(
I don't think that she is intimidated by you --she may have a crush on you as well and thus may behave in that nervous manner.
As for my personal opinion... I don't find tall guys particularly intimidating, but I am not drawn to them either.

Tall guys are not intimidating. My boyfriend is 6"1 and I am 5"6. I like that he is taller than me. That's my preferance anyway. Most girls like a taller guy from what I've been told.

Yeah.. we also are easy to find in crowds, so my friends can always find me in the hallways since apparently everyone else at my school is short lol
