Some people say my laugh is annoying?

Sometimes when I laugh, I make this high pitched squeal noise and I have different laughs and some people will get mad at me and tell me to stfu. I really can't help the way I laugh and it's starting to bother me. I just don't wanna laugh any more because I'm starting to become self conscious because my laugh is soo ugly. Should I ignore people's comments or what?

I don't know id ignore it if it were me, because sometimes i experience what you do but with my voice cause it high sometimes people laugh at it or not treat my opinion as seriously. to be honest i think thats rooted in sexism cause if a girl has like a deep voice and she sounds like a man then people take her opinion more seriously. but one time i was reading something aloud in class cause i got told to do so and some kid sitting in back of me started laughing and iturned around i was like "shut the fuck up, you ugly ass cunt (:" i got in trouble but its ok :')

you can just say shut up but remember to always be yourself, despite getting made fun of. i used to have this fear of talking to other people because of this but now i learned to not give a fuck and be myself <3

First, I don't think you can really change your laugh because it's a neurological reflex. It's inborn, and it's part of your essence, and part of what makes you who you are. So screw those other people who express negative opinions! I think you should laugh as much as you need to and embrace it as part of you, and enjoy it to the hilt! And you'll bring joy to the world.
