Do girls like guys with soft hands or calloused/rough hands?

I've started going to the gym a few weeks ago, and I've noticed that I'm getting some callouses on the palms of my hands and I'm wondering whether I should buy a pair of gym gloves so that I don't get them. I personally don't mind the callouses, but I would if it gets in the way of me and the girl I like at school :( . So my question to you guys is: do girls mind a guy with gym callouses? I mean, they're not THAT rough or even that noticeable to be honest. Or should I just start wearing the gloves?

Bro that shit doesn't matter. If you wear gloves to the gym then either you are a black guy who just came from their construction job and still have the half netted/ half plastic gloves on, or you're a gym noob. Go and earn your callouses mate. There's nothing better than that feeling when you finish a set and look down at your hands and see the skin all fucked up. Thinking "damn I just went hard and these are boutta heal berry nicely :D". Look if it's really a concern I have this friend named Gabe. Guys doens't lift but he has some rough ass hands. I swear they feel like sand paper yet he still finger blasts girls. You'll be okay so drop the gloves and don't be scared to pick up the weights, raw. Best of luck on your lifting journey.

Coming from someone who has callouses, they're really not a big deal. Deadlifts, static holds, farmers walks, power cleans, rows, pullups, and some other stuff give me callouses. If you're going to get gloves, you'll need a purse to match them. Over time your hands will get used to them and they won't be nearly as bad as they are right now. Also, gloves won't translate into actual grip strength. When you need to carry something a long distance or are hanging off a cliff awaiting your fall, you're going to wish that you didn't use gloves.

you should start wearing gloves, just to be on the safe side. Because they may be small now but if you continue they'll probably get bigger. and most girls do like guys with soft hands, but it really depends on the type of girl.

I'd prefer softer hands than calloused hands. But as was said before, not ridiculously soft and feminine :P

i have callouses from drums baseball and working wth my dad so I never really had time to care about callouses an how girls ould percive them. if you have hands that are a little rough, do you really think a girl would be that shallow and stop having feelings for you just because of your hands? probably not. I guess it could be a turn on like ome girls said, but I can't see how it would be a deal breaker

I don't wear gloves for safety reasons. a cut is much better than getting a whole hand ripped off.

you don't want extremely soft hands because that would be a bit weird but yes usually soft hands are a bit of a turn on. but maybe that's just me. but if they are too soft girls may think of you as another girl. (if you get what I mean)
