Short shorts?!

OK many of my friends think short shorts are sleazy or slutty (I do have some friends who don't think that). And my friends don't like it when I wear them either. And its not like I'm big or anything (cause I'm a size 1). Just what are other peoples thoughts on them? I like them because they show off your legs, and when its hot you don't get some stupid tan that's half way down your leg, and they are very cool and comfortable.

I like dainty, elegant, stylish girls with mid-thigh dress, plaid skirts with best fit tops: chiffon, wool, or light-cotton thin tops, sleeveless tops and sometimes not overly revealing croptop.

Many guys including me dislike short shorts on girls which are too revealing, provocative and promiscuous. They look trashy, wasted, rude, indiscreet and sleazy on those naughty, sexy-aggressive, offensive pairs of shorts.

as long as your clothes range from modest to slightly revealing/showing some tiny bit of skin, people are fine with it. Many are strict on this because they don't want their girl/daughter to witness and engage in sexiness, cleavage display, growl, coarse arrogance in their dressing, and shaking ass off for money. Today, we have whole a lot of promiscuous women in our generation.. We should not be that cheap and we never can be that cheap. Many can afford to uphold their family with standards in their living and dressing. So, modesty, being genteel, graceful, decent, righteous, genuine, and discreet are of high quality and should be incorporated.

I honestly think they're pretty hot. Though in the right circumstances of course. I mean it's quite appealing on the eye, but when it's not practical, it kind of makes you think. For example, wearing short shorts in the cold season; a bit of me thinks, "Man, isn't she cold". Ironically, still hot at the time... =)

But I'm for girls expressing themselves in the way they dress. I say wear what you want, and generally when you want to wear it; it shouldn't matter what people say (eventhough, truth be told, for some reason it does matter).

I've been told by female friends, that girls don't stand up for each other, so they're probably jealous that you can rock a pair of short shorts, and get away with it quite easily.

I am size 00 and they look good. I know they are kind of slutty especially with heels but I do like that look and feel. One thing you can do to tone it down is wear wedge heels. Even if they're the same height, they are a little less slutty than regular heels, and they really help your legs look long.

To me it depends on how long your legs are if it looks skaty (sluty + skanky) ha ha for example my friend is 5'4 and these look fine on her. But me being 6'0 these just look majorly skaty.

What is it about society that they should have the right to question what you wear? Men should also be allowed to feel comfortable with what they wear. I love to wear short shorts, particularly in hot weather, as I personally, feel sexy and that showing a lovely shapely pair of legs, I'm not going to "cover up" just become many people, particularly younger people, find it amusing to be either loud and vocal of laugh out loud quite unashamedly! Do some girls feel threatened because a guy may have nicer legs than theirs? Don't be so rude and ignorant and making nasty homophobic assumptions on those guys who wear short shorts! I intend to "have words" with the next person who even dares to get their feelings known to see how they cope with being shown up!!

I like girls in shorts. Especially if they have nice legs.

They only look slutty depending on where you are. If you wear them at the mall or to a somewhat fancy restaurant, you probably are going to look a little slutty. But if it's hot outside and you feel like going to the park or out in the public in those shorts, you shouldn't have to worry about looking slutty.

just comes to show you. that when you say its for "comfort" that while it may might be that case...BUT..every one is comfy in certain things..she said she wants to show off..first thing..which means she's flirting. LOL

there is a time and place for them buti don't see a problem if you are in that time and place. they can show your butt cheeks for all I care. but they are just not appropriate all the time

Well therer's short shorts and shorts that are basically boys shorts they're so short. If they're the first one, then it's not problem and I like them. If it's the second one, I still like them. :P but it's slutty looking.
