Few guys like nerdy girls because of following reasons mentioned in one of the website I was surfing.

#1 She has a wide range of interests. Like really wide. There are so many mediums to choose from and this means it’s going to be easy for you to get her a gift on the numerous occasions gifts are required.

#2 She is extremely passionate about these interests. Seeing someone show pure love and awe for something they are passionate about is a reward in itself. Mocking people for the little things they love just makes you bitter. Seeing a nerdy girl show you why she loves the things she does is just breathtaking.

#3 She hones her intellectual skills on a regular basis. You know you’ve got a keeper when all she does is work on how to be the best in what she does. The best part is you know she’s going to be rich one day because of her hard work. *wink wink*

#4 She can either be an introvert or an extrovert. Nerdy girls cannot be squeezed into stereotypical boxes. They are not antisocial. They are not cold and repressed. They are people with different levels of social skills and you would do well to know this before you assume anything about your crush.

#5 She’s a treasure trove of random facts. Talking to a nerdy girl is never boring. She has an unlimited cache of topics to discuss, and you can be sure it will never be as boring as what clothes they’re planning on wearing to work tomorrow.

#6 She has role models beyond actors and models. A nerdy girl admires the popular people in the world today, but she also knows who else can do with a little appreciation. Artists, scientists, performers, and activists are just a few of the people who may serve as your nerdy girl’s idol.

#7 She is the type of person who may be eager to learn something new. She didn’t get to nerdy status because she accepted what was given to her in school. She went out there and looked for other stuff to learn. That is what makes her the smart and impressive woman she is today.

#8 She is curious about many things. Curiosity moves the world to become better, when entertained in moderation. A nerdy girl is perpetually curious, leading her to be a great problem solver. Oh, did we mention this means she’s open to trying lots of new things in and out of the bedroom?

#9 She is intuitive. Nerdy girls work with both instinct and fact. Most of the time, you won’t be bothered by baseless ruminations from your SO because she’ll probably have hard evidence if you did anything wrong.

Definitely yes. They have their own catch. And they're shy. Plus when you start talking with them, it goes so deep and both enjoy the conversation. I'd definitely date a nerdy girl.
P. S. Nerdy girls are ignored a lot. It shouldn't happen. They also have feelings but they're mostly left out. It's sad though.

Yes! it's pretty much a requirement since I am one too and I don't want to have to deal with people who don't understand or like what I like. I want my SO to be my best friend, not a sextoy or trophy.

However I must add in a cravat that all of the ones I have run into are taken. It's kinda hard to find them outside of certain venues and the like, so it's a long, hard slog to find the right one. It doesn't help that everyone seemingly found a stable relationship right off the bat.

Yeah, I find I have more interests in common with them. (Which can be a blessing and a curse.)
Although, it depends what sort of nerd we're talking about.
The last nerdy girl I spoke to nearly went on a verbal tirade because I accidentally mispronounced one of the Gen 7 pokemon. Like, dude, your Gen 7 has nothing on the original Gen 1. Get that sh*t outta here lol.
