Drinking alone okay?

Is drinking by yourself lame? Bc I like to and everyone says it’s sad. But sometimes I just wanna drink by myself and not have to worry about anyone else...

I do it all the time. I didn't by choice at first but now I got used to it and like getting drunk at home alone. I dont do it all the time, mind you. I don't have to worry about looking like an idiot in front of people. I don't have to worry about driving and cabs. I can take my time. I still go out with friends for a drink but have grown to enjoy drinking at my own pace. People who say its sad say that because they're still young and immature and have to have someone babysitting them when they drink.

I drink alone a lot, it's kinda sad most the time though lol. It might just be me though, when I'm drinking alone it normally starts out as me crying and listening to music and then it's me drinking and listening to music which is a bit better, sometimes there's more crying but normally it just makes me happy

As long as you;re not getting hammered by yourself :D frequently :D Then you might have a drinking problem :D

I don't know I think it's stupid how society dictates that if you drink with others it's fine, but when you do it by yourself you must be sad and pathetic.

I drink a little something while I watch TV shows and I don't feel sad. So yes I think it's ok to drink alone, but obviously drink responsibly.

Depends it you are sitting down and watching to or YouTube or something. If you are actively doing something and relaxing it is perfectly fine. If you are just sitting down and drinking to get drunk then it is a bit strange.

There's having a drink while alone and there's getting drunk on your own... I'd say getting drunk regularly on your own probably isn't that healthy.

Nothing wrong with it is it's a glass or two, or a beer or two, if it's getting drunk a lot by yourself then it becomes bad

Drinking alone as a female is not ok in some cultures (mine for example). Also it increase the chances of becoming addicted, so of you do, try to control yourself

@Desislava not really a blizzard fan, but love overwatch. Don't have a pc to play most of there games. This year was the lowest I've played in a long time mainly from moving out with less money but also lack of games on my radar. The next game is far cry 5 in February and skull and bones fall next year.

Drinking alone might mean you are going through a rough time and by this it will get worse while drinking with friends will at least help you stop overthinking

How much? If you pass out every night it is not good. If you have a drink or two no big deal. And it really doesn't matter if it's alone or not.
