I think they are very cute. But let’s be a little more realistic, flat leather boots a way nicer. They are more warm, more resistant to rain, less risky to twist an ankle with such a heel and they can fit any casual look. Now if you think your girlfriend is likely to wear those boots then buy her those, but if she’s more of the comfy and casual looks, get her the flat sole brown leather boots. Don’t get something like that unless you already know they’re your girlfriend’s style and something she’s normally wear. Lots of girls wouldn’t know what to do with a pair of shoes like that. Thigh-high boots with open toes? Are your feet in Florida while your legs are in Canada?

I've worn pairs similar to these and the guys loved how they looked on me with a miniskirt or minidress. Of course, I like to dress sexy. I wouldn't go marching through the snow in them for any length of time but to get to where I'm going from the car they work fine and the guys loved them.

You could advise the asker to get something like this for his girlfriend and then she might not even want to wear them. That would be pretty silly. We need to advise him to hunk about his girlfriend’s personal taste and style.

@samhradh_leannan Of course. The fact he found the boots he did tells me she might be into them or he wouldn't have leaned in that direction. I just wanted to let him know what other options were out there for sexy boots and where he might go to see more.

And hopefully that’s the case. For me it’s just hard to tell if he chose that pair because he actually thinks they’re her style, or if he chose them because HE likes them/ wants to see them on her/ wants to encourage her to wear a different type of shoes than she normally does. I guess to me the fact that he chose to ask a bunch of strangers for their opinions instead of just looking in his girlfriend’s closet to check out her style kind of gave me the impression that he’s not necessarily focusing on her taste. Which he should be doing.
