If you use a dating app in Korea or Japan, you will find several girls who only look for white foreigners, many do not even put bio in Korean or Japan.
Already in the US (California) I have seen many of them dating a white or a latino guy, but at least whites are not exotic in the West. On the other side I saw Asian men with girls of other races as well. I may be wrong because I'm new here, that was just my first impression. I am Japanese born in Brazil and now I study in the USA.

You look like a nice guy, I had a lot of black friends in Brazil. Here in North American I do not know many yet, but I understand that in the US the racial issue is more complicated and difficult. But one thing I've noticed is that many American women just like black men, maybe it's good for you.

I don't think many American women like "Black" men. I don't know where that stereotype comes from. "Black" people are still among the groups that date or marry outside of their community the least. In fact, Latino men marry "White" women at a higher rate than "Black" men. Asian-American men have a rate only slightly less than African-American males.

The fact is this, we still see things in black and white. We only perceive interracial marriage when we marry "White" people and not when we marry each other.

It is an incredible thing to witness day in and day out.

Maybe one day we will realize, the race conversation is a multicultural conversation.

as I said I am a beginner here in the USA, but I think maybe the black man is seen only as sexual object for white women. Many seek a short relationship with black men, but prefer to marry whites or Latinos. Theoretically, I'm also Latin because I'm Brazilian-Japanese, but I know that you here refer to Mexicans (mainly brown people) as being Latino, in Brazil there is a greater diversification of races than in Mexico.

Being ethnic Japanese isn't an advantage with Chinese or Koreans, and may even be a disadvantage, especially with women from families that make a particularly strong effort to maintain their culture.
Here's what I would do if I were a Japanese Brazilian in the US- I'd talk to Latinas. Since you're Brazilian, you can understand Spanish even if you can't speak it, and there are many cultural similarities between Brazilian women and Latinas.
