Guys....What do you think about country girls?

First of all, I grew up with certain morals and principles that make me a bit different than most girls these days and I was taught to be humble and polite even in some of the worst circumstances. I'm old fashioned when it comes to the roles of men and women, dating, and family traditions. I can't help that I love country music, and that's all I basically listen to. I can be a girly girl, but there's also a side of me that likes to go mudding, watch UFC, and go to football games. In the future, I see myself teaching history at a christian academy (i'm getting my degree right now, and I'm also a christian) married to a family man with a lot of kids and at least 2 dogs (I love dogs...hah)

I'm just curious about what guys think about girls like me in general, and even though I have dreams of getting married at a young age (23-24 is my ideal age to get married) how many guys out there would want to be with a girl like me? and how many guys out there have a similar dream/plans for the future that I do?

Oh yes you'll definitely be in demand. Old fashioned girls are so awesome, I mean don't get me wrong I totally think men/women are equals, but these days it can be hard to do nice little things for a girl you start seeing (e.g. chivalry) out of fear that she might find it degrading.

Anyway speaking from experience, I've only dated one country girl, she was shy and a total sweet heart. She really liked horses and was into the equestrian scene. Now if things had progressed I would have been totally into trying horseback riding, but my point is that if you are into mudding, UFC, football games well it will really make it easy for a lot of men to relate to you! (both country and city boys). You sound like fun. Plus, for some reason there's few things sexier than a girl in a sports jersey.

I guess just along those lines... one of the reasons I couldn't get into that country girl was that she didn’t ever dress girly… I mean I’m sorry but most guys don’t want a total tom boy. So dolling up once in a while is definitely recommended.

Finally, your value system is very appealing, believe it or not I think most guys want to settle down and enjoy the comfort of a loving wife and family. If you’re goal is to be married by 23-24, you may have to go for someone a bit older, because of course we generally take more time to grow up… unless you’re religious in which case you can probably meet a nice guy your age at church or something who’s also into getting married young. Just be proud of your morals and dreams, they are very sweet, I hope they all come true for you!

23-24 is young for getting married now? I thought it was the average.

Anyway, there are plenty of guys who'll like what you have to offer. You just have to be vigilant that the guys you run into aren't trying to take advantage of your lifestyle.

im similar to you. I'm 22 right now so I don't think I'd want to be married as young as you do though. I used to but then I thought about it, I want to date more and get more experience before I find the one so I won't be wondering "what if?" but I do want to be married at 26 or 27.

i got the nickname "miss priss" and "princess" based on me being girly but I've seen girls that are girlier than me so I think I'm average lol

i'm less religious and more spiritual but yea we are pretty similar

its just hard to find a guy that is in line with how I believe, most guys I meet don't want to settle down or a real relationship so I'm thinking about dating a bit older. but right now I enjoy my space that I get from being single. I will worry about dating when I get my life more on track. I don't wanna have kids and really settle until I get more established, so mostly I will just date for fun and to meet new ppl

Lol...maybe it's just the thought of being married at a young age and having a stable, secure life is what I want. But you might be right about 22-23 being a bit too young. I think its just the thought I like better. Thanks for your input though :) Its nice to know that there similar girls like me out there, I was starting to feel really out of place! hah

I'm like the guy you would want except I'm not Christian. I want a sweet caring girl But the more I find out about girls the more I feel they aren't sweet or caring. A girly girl. I want to marry early and want 3 kids.
