Do girls feel uncomfortable practicing groin strikes on male sparring partners?

If any of you practice martial arts or self defense, is it awkward when that time comes to kick your sparring partner in the nuts?

I try hard to to hit my male sparring partner in the groin 😂

But it is embarrassing when we're practicing a certain move, and my foot (or hand!) goes right there, not touching, just going there to mark it as a hit. And over and over again... super embarrassing

I guess. I'm doing a grab-and-twist motion inches from his package... I can't help but imagine what's under that thin layer of cloth

I don’t practice martial arts, but would have no problem with it if that’s what we were supposed to be doing. 🤷‍♀️

Well just think that it won’t hurt a girl nearly as bad as it would a guy.

exactly. so after I kick her and she feels barely anything, I have to be brave enough to let her foot crush my balls. lol. And I'd be wondering what she's thinking about it. haha

Haha well it might be a good time for you to wear a cup. And if it helps any, I’m sure your sparring partner will also be slightly embarrassed and may even be concerned about not hurting you too badly.

I've heard too many horror stories from wearing a cup. lol. But yeah it's better than nothing. In most cases.

If the kick gets a girl right to the spot where girls have the Clitoris then obviously it can hurt just as bad as kicking a guy in the balls

I never had to kick my sparring partner in the nuts. It was always shots to the stomach and chest mostly

It's not a move am familiar with. Men some times tend to be worried about sparring with women as they worried they might touch areas... On the other hand I seen brother's and sisters spa and you feel like you need to break them up for there own safety 😀

@LisaS I am so glad to hear that! So what do you think hurts when a girl is kicked there? Is it just the bone that hurts or is it the tissue? Or both? And does it hurt more then getting punched in the boobs? Also... I think it happens very often with females too but noone specifically uploads them on any social medias like they upload men getting kicked there, is it true? Or does it really rarely happens with girls?

No, it does happen a lot with girls. I probably get a couple of low blows a month. Mostly, I can usually work through them. They are a lot worse than a blow to the boobs, and it's usually the fleshy bits (my most intimate areas) that hurt the most.
