A lot of young women simply cling to puppy dogs rainbows and pink unicorns. Stuffed animals fit right in there.
From day one they were told a prince charming would swoop in one day and sweep them off their feet. Even disney got into this shtick. So we have a lot of entitled special little snowflakes that take offense to EVERYTHING, and have completely unrealistic expectations of what life is or relationships are. And their sphere of cognizance encircles an area right around their own bellybutton.
