Is it possible for a good-looking guy to never have had a girlfriend by the age of 22?

I just turned 22. Never had a girlfriend, still a virgin and never been on a date. Girls tell me I'm good looking/hot/cute/handsome etc and I've been approached by girls before but there's a problem. I'm a big loser when it comes to women! I have no clue about women whatsoever! However, I know guys who are also terrible with girls who have still ended up with at least 1 girlfriend by now.

Is it possible for an attractive guy to still have never had a girlfriend by the time he is 22. Do you know anyone like this?

You can know you look good, by the amount of looks and smiles you receive everywhere. I get a lot of attention, though I hate it!

That aside, am single, virgin. I've never had a girlfriend.

Girls are all around me, I just don't care about relationships in general, having girls as friends is not bad, though escalating is what I can't fathom.

My head refuses, absolutely refuses and says "Let the girl do it if she wants me."...

The words, I like you, I tried saying it to girls I wanted years back, none accepted my requests. Rejection was my routine, I lost all hope for good.

I went to some mild depression, I healed, and I no longer feel like I can say compliments and I like you's or any sweet words anymore, I just keep it normal with all people.

I hate texting anyone, I hate calls, when I hear dates, I get a casket for myself for that day.

That's me. I'm super silent/introverted, that's why am always on this forum. and quora.

I've been raised that way. No hate for ladies, I just love my singleness.

If she comes, I don't know. If she doesn't, I also don't mind staying alone forever.

What I mean by motives is do you want a girl so you are not alone? Or do you want a girl so that way both of you can grow and help each other together? The reason for which I wrote that is because I've known some guys who only want a girl for physical stuff and not the emotional and mental. My sincerest apologies if I have offended you in any manner.

If you think you are a boring guy, then change yourself. From experience, I found that I was not happy with the way my life was going and I changed it. I did not sit around hoping or waiting for someone to come and change my life, I had to get up off my bottom and fix what I thought needed to be fixed. You know what needs to change, but you seem reluctant to change. Why are you holding yourself back? If you're so attractive (and possibly quite intelligent) then what is stopping you from getting out there and laughing more, living more, and loving more? It's not confidence that gets the girl; it's happiness. If you are genuine and believe in yourself, it will definitely show and a girl will be all the more attracted to you because of it.

Oh OK. Yeah I never want a girl just for the physical stuff. I'm not that kind of guy. I've been in positions where girls were interested in me for just sex but I hate that stuff. Guess I can't really complain about being a virgin when I have had chances to lose it. I want a girl so we can grow and help each other together. I don't think I'm boring because I have nothing about me. I am very interesting.

I think I am boring because I am a quiet guy and I just can't seem to keep girls around long enough to show them how interesting I am. Putting my education aside, I do many things that bring me happiness. My friends (the very few I have) are amazed at the different things I do with my life. It brings me confidence in those areas and raises myself self-esteem. But dating is a totally different story and I have no idea why. I like how I am giving advice to you and I have only been on 5 dates in my life, lol. Hanging out is no problem with me but when it moves into "dating" and when or when not to make a move that's when I absolutely freak out and I have no idea what to do. So much for being able to give you advice, lol. With that said when talking to a girl talk about awesome things you have done that have raised your self-esteem without bragging and hopefully she will stay to hear more about you.

Yes, myself. I'm turning 22 soon. I am a collegiate athlete, I maintain a very high gpa, and guys have called me cute, beautiful, gorgeous, pretty, etc. I have guys that are friends and would go as far as to say that my best friend right now is a guy, but have yet to ever have a boyfriend. Trust me, you are not alone and I'm fairly sure that I've answered a few of your questions before. Why are you so terrible with women? From your comment "I'm a big loser when it comes to women!" It sounds like you need to improve both your self-esteem and confidence first. Besides why do you want a girlfriend in the first place? Might want to rethink your motives there too. So aside from not being a guy, I am proof that an attractive person can never have a boyfriend by the time that they are 22 (well give or take 4 months, but highly doubtful something will happen).

Well I'm improving on my self-esteem and confidence. I think I am terrible with women because I don't know how to get them interested in me. I think I'm just probably a boring dude who girls lose interest in fast. I mean even the girls who were interested in me didn't stick around. Why? Probably because I am boring and there's nothing about me that keeps them interested. And what you mean about my motives? I'm not planning to do anything to hurt a girl if I manage to make her my girlfriend.

You must be shy and introverted. I had a guy friend like you and loved him to death. He is marriage material, too bad I put him in the friend-zone. I had my first real relationship to a guy when I was 24. School was more important to me, too important actually. Anyways, I don't regret waiting. You have way less baggage than the rest of us, which is a plus! When your time comes around, you will be able to love easier and more deeply. Just don't give it up with someone just cause you think it will last. My ex said he wanted to marry me, but now I wonder if he just wanted my virginity. Really he was almost bipolar, could never read him. See all the kind of drama that's out there. Someday a girl will find you and never let you go. Don't sweat it.

22 is not old. Don't sweat it. I was in your shoes when I was 22. Even though I'm a girl, I felt the same pressure and awkwardness about sex and dating. I know guys like you, too. I'm sure you're a good looking guy. Go to places where you can meet girls who aren't skanky -- like a library or school setting. Maybe a college class. Many of these girls look like knockouts, but they haven't had much experience either. Nerdy girls can be really pretty, and they're usually much more understanding about sex than high maintenance chicks.
