And if so, which accent is best? Dominican? Peruvian? Mexican? How many like the Castellano accent?
Is Spanish Sexy?
And if so, which accent is best? Dominican? Peruvian? Mexican? How many like the Castellano accent?
It's my mother tongue so for me it's not sexy, just normal language. Though I think that when foreigners say it's sexy they refer to Latin American countries accents. Castellano is like the least sexy, because it has much less musicality. But.. if we consider the bunch of accents in the small area of Spain... Accent from small towns in Cádiz area are less sexy than Castellano, in my opinion. The sexier one I don't know, I'd have to listen closely each one.
And I always thought that Spanish was a language.
How wrong can someone be. I have been taught something new now. But I realize that even a language must be sexualized now.
I always wanted to ask if those guys in full biohazard outfits are sexy now that we see them on all news channels.
What do you think about it?
I just love me somma dat phat grammer
What country are you from?
Whoops. At lest I didn't type proper jive. Some dialects in my country are a clusterf***k. From the huge bizarre mixing of cultures. It is fun to hear Vietnamese men with a Vietnamese/Southern (American hillbilly) accent though.
The Pentecostal snake handlers are also hilarious to hear speak. They have documentary clips on youtube that are pretty funny. What do you think of cajuns?
Our dialects are actually much closer in the deeply religious communities. Everybody where I grew up used the king James bible, so we had a lot of middle English influences. That, and many folks in parts of my country believe TV is evil, and read mostly antiquated books.
If you've ever met your great-grandma you have a pretty good idea of how we speak. We might be a bit more antiquated, but still.
"Fag" is a funny one. Also "bum". "Bum a fag" means something entirely different to Americans, I'd more than a little confusion upon first hearing it.
True, the English language, whether from Australia/New Zealand, USA/Canada or Ireland/Wales/Scotland can really be a pleasure, hilarious or a real pain in the rear to try to understand.
That just reminds me of this good movie (to me) with Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison.

I used to think so until i saw that bit from the comedian Russell’s peters talking about Fernando. Now i cannot listen to any Spanish without bursting out laughing... ahhh some people just ruin fantasies
BRO WOMEN LOVES Spanish THAT'S WHY I'M LEARNING IT...
Lol by the way the map is wrong, in Philippines we don't speak Spanish.
I noticed that! I think they included it because it was the lingua franca of your country for a long time. The government that your grandparents had spoke it.

Hi all, Hola que tal
I tried to learn Spanish for a while at night at TAFE (like a technical college) after work at night.
I couldn't keep up. Picked up bits and pieces from a Spanish mate who used to live nearby when we were kids. Espanol? Spanish has slight variations from South America ie Cinco (TH) number 5 (going for memory here) OH I met a gorgeous Portuguese girl once. I know different lingo but they live near each other. Accents are very interesting compare even different parts of Australia and even New Zealand. Hasta Luego.
Most South Americans don't actually have a lisp. Either they were from Spain or the Spanish pocket. That last one is talking about Venezuela. They have smoother, nicer lisps than people do in spain. Spanish lisps sound almost like hissing.
Thanks for the info meesegoMoo. I really do enjoy learning all the time. Next time I am in contact with my old mate Mr Martinez (I know very common Spanish name like aka Smith, Jones. He sometimes used the feminine family name too but due to privacy I will refrain from giving his name ;))
I know all about the names. I live in the U. S. We have plenty of people from all over. I've spoken to a handful of Cambodians who fled pol-pot, but I couldn't even count the number of people from Latin American countries. Natives too.
I'm Hispanic as well.
Hi meesegoMoo,
I had a feeling you had a Hispanic background. Do you know any native Americans? I once worked with a lady who was Noongar (First Australians from south west Western Australia which also covers Perth WA's capital city) We had some very interesting conversations.
Neither of my grandmother got to keep their tribes. One was put into an "Indian School" and the other was catholic. I live in North Dakota, so all we have here is Souix, I'm not a fan. The South Dakota Souix can be all right, at least some of them work. My grandfather used to run with them, the elders wanted him to join the council of nations as a souix knowing he looked mostly white and was from a different people.
Any one who can speak more than one language is sexy in my opinion. Spanish isn't my favorite but I think it is one of the better ones tbh. Love hearing people speak other languages even if I got no idea what they're saying
I totally agree with you. I also love hearing other people speak other languages.
Why is the Philippines red in the map? We are not a Spanish speaking country. We use some Spanish words in our daily conversations but we don’t speak Spanish as a language. As for your question, YES, I find Spanish very sexy. I am actually starting to learn the language. It’s not easy but definitely easier than learning English or mandarin.
English is very easy
@_乃尺OЩ刀_TITI it’s easy for other people.
I think German and French are sexy in my opinion ☺️
To be honest... being from NYC and the moving to Texas. Spanish is a very common language for me. It's the person that says sexy things, and sometimes certain things sounds better in Italian. Just like certain things sound better in English.
While I love accents they don’t personally turn me on
no hablo espanol mi amigo, yo soy inglis,
pero yo soy aprendar un poco espanol, thats all i know how to say lol
my nombre es mierda y yo gusta joder mi perro en la culo
Un poco de. Also are you from England? Otherwise "hablo ingles" instead of "soy ingles". Also "Aprindido" or "queiro arender", I know conjugation is tricky. Best of luck to ya.
Hell yeah it's so sexy and I really wouldn't care about the accent they're all equally sexy. 😻😻
Honestly yes, I love men who speak Spanish, it's a turn on, and the Mexican accent is the best
Yes it is
What's your favorite Spanish accent?
Good to know. Are you latina? It's hard to tell one way or the other from the profile pic.
Me too. Northern tribes as well as Hispanic. Sadly my ancestor was an orphan after some stuff went down in Minnesota, so we don't know which tribe she was from in that state.
I love accents and i love the Spanish language
Yes Spanish Language is sexy , i like Mexican
I'll never visit these countries except Spain. I don't want to be taken prisoner in Mexico or Chile.
For me not really, french and italian seems more attractive to me.
I don't know depends on the person's point of view.
no, it is not sexy, it is a foreign language and nothing more
I don't have a preference as long as I can communicate with other people.
si español es muy sexy
I hate Spanish. But I hate French the most
It can be, but, I prefer French in a woman
