What does it mean when she starts talking about her period?

I have been seeing this girl for the last few weeks and things seem to be going fine. I am planning to ask her out soon but not sure if she will think its too fast or something... This week she started talking to me about her period and how she feels. I was wondering is this is a sign for me to move in and ask her out. Just in general when does a girl start talking to a guy about her period? do you girls talk about your period to any friends or just if the guy is special to you and means something to u?

Honestly I dated someone for years and he would sometimes MAKE ME talk about it cause he thought it would make me feel better/ he wanted to know everything about my freaking life.

Personally I think it's gross for a girl to mention especially that quick. I think it's not classy to talk about your period...she can talk about it indrectly like kinda hint out its that "time of month" but to directly be like "i have my period I feel like this, that, and this" is gross

To me it sounds like she is trying to open up to you and "connect" with you by sharing personal and intimate details about herself. The period however is not the way to do it! lol Guys don't care about the period unless she is telling you she is late! I wouldn't put too much into it. Maybe she is nervous and trying to share things about herself and picked the wrong topic. Ask her out again, it will be ok.

Thanks, but do you think that you as a girl would talk about your period to just any guy you know or would the guy have to mean something to you. also how do you assume that I will be asking her out again. LOL. well your assumption is correct. I did ask her out the first time I met her and she said she would consider it. weird I know but at least she never stopped talking to me.

I would not talk to a guy about my period unless I was in a serious relationship with him or unless I was pregnant. Yes he would definitely have to mean somthing to me. Periods are boring and not worthy of conversaion lol especially to guys! I just figured you would ask her out agian, woman's intuition ! LOL

Women always talk about themselves. Be honored that she is willing to let you in on her behaviors while menstrating... If she happens to fly off the handle or act out of the ordinary than she is telling you in advance... It is just a topic of conversation about herself and nothing more...

Maybe she's asking for forgiveness of her behavior in advance. I think she's just giving you a head's up. I don't think you can read any more into it than that. I've had both friends and lovers warn me.

Okay, i'm in a similar situation. I've been friends with a girl for about a year now and i would like to ask her her out but she is dating someone else right now. Anyway, she randomly told me that she was on her period the other day and im not sure if that means she might be close to being in to me or if she thinks of me as something similar to a gay friend that she can talk to about anything. What do y'all think?
