a girl you already knew like someone you see sometimes and didin't talk to that girl that much just the basic hi and how are you doing.

I have never done that but if I want something to happend I really have to because we don't see each other that much and I want to... I don't know what I want but I want something, if you know what I mean ;)

I do think that if I feel a connection with a girl, I would be more likely to ask for her number before she had the chance to ask me.

I've had a girl ask me for my number at work before. I really like when a woman is straight forward, that way I know she isen't up for some back and fourth game playing. We can just get to knowing each other. You might be surprised at how very few girls would think of asking a guy for his number. It really makes you stand out in a good way. I did date this one girl particularly who had asked for my number at work. It does yield results.

ive realized that I've asked so many guys for their numbers! ill run into them and we talk for a bit and if we get along I'm just like, "we should hang out! what's your #?" then I get out my phone and they always give it to me. I call them on the spot while I'm with them so they have mine too. I don't even think about it as hitting on them. not until later do I realize he prob thinks I'm into him, I only am sometimes. so weird because I'm not even an agressive girl.

I did this the first time not long ago and was absolutely terrified!
I had spent a week in a hotel and there was a very attractive Italian waiter who kept flirting and smiling so when I went to checkout I plucked up the courage and asked for his number.
We exchanged numbers and he didn't find it odd I had asked but later said he was very glad i did!! We've been talking ever since!!!

I've asked a few guys for their number and they usually give it to me. I'll usually make a joke and get him laughing and relaxed before I ask them. Once they give me there number I'll call there cell so they have mine and hang back and wait for them to text me. Typically has some good results :)

If you make the first move most guys would take that as a compliment and you look attractive so unless maybe he just wasn't into your type I wouldn't be afraid of rejection if I were you. Personally I like when woman come up to me and tell me they like me. It makes the decision if I want to start something with them that much easier.

I don't think guys view giving out phone numbers the way girls do. Girls view it as I'll have this guy bugging me and he wants a date.

Guys see it as either I'll have this girl bugging me or she just wants a way to talk and reach me if need be. So I wouldn't be too worried about asking for it.
