Girls, can you wear a pad with a bikini (I obviously dont mean in the water)?

Hi so yeah I recently got my period. I wear kotex pads without wings, and dont want to try tampons yet (my mom buys it anyway). I know you can't really go swimming on your period and I also know that you can't wear pads in water lol

But how about if I'm on my period, and am at the beach or boardwalk and want to wear a bikini - can I wear a pad with the bikini as long as I don't go in the water?

Can't I just wear the pad like regular underwear but instead of panties, its a bikini swimsuit?

Don't do it. It looks awful. If you're wearing a coverup the whole time then you might be able to hide the pad visibility better.

But if you want to do anything in a swimsuit you should just wear the tampon. I hate them. And I've only worn one once and I was like 14 and I wanted to go swimming at my grandma's house.

It was so weird feeling and uncomfortable and I never did that again. So if you can deal with the strange feeling then just give it a try. If not a pad and a bikini cover up on the bottom should hide it enough.

I rambled forever but I hope I got my point across. Tampons are awful but most appropriate for your situation. Maybe reconsider

The answer is obviously no. You might as well just wear boy shorts or panties and just leave it at that. Why go out in a bikini knowing you are not want to be able to hide that you're wearing a pad? You don't need to be wearing tampons and I highly do not suggest it especially when you are a virgin. Please keep yourself until you're married. But at the same time, bikinis are meant to be writing up your but anyway. If you don't want to be seen wearing a pad and embarrassing yourself you better find something else to wear or just don't go out in your bikini and wear shorts instead.
