W. T. F.‽ No, people do things for different reasons, ('selecting clothes' included).
Assuming meanings to others' actions is a risky endeavor. It's a reason the social-sciences (a. k. a. 'the soft-sciences') aren't as respected as solid & reliable as the physical-sciences ('hard-sciences' or just 'science' itself, as though the social-sciences aren't sciences at all) by a good number of people: Inanimate-objects react the consistently way to the same stimuli, so finding causes and/or predicting outcomes is simpler & more straightforward. BUT sentient humans can react the same way to the same stimuli, the same way to the different stimuli, differently to the same stimuli, or differently to different stimuli, so finding the causes and/or predicting outcomes is much trickier. Why? People are different and can choose to do different things for different reasons. The same goes with people choosing what clothes to wear.
In my case, I've had multiple people think I wanted to f— them, kill them, seduce them, kidnap them, and/or physically-assault them for no substantive reason.
For actual, understandable reason? Sure!
• Yes, I did accidentally look at someone while drawing a newly-sharpened knife while visibly furious (at something utterly unrelated to the person I momentarily saw).
• Yes, the tree I was watching like a hawk so I could use the plant as a guidepost while parking was in the general direction of a little, soon-to-be-panic-stricken girl-child who ran sobbing to her mother as quickly as her feet could carry her.
• Yes, I did mention I was 'looking for something to do' and visibly lean toward the general direction of an admittedly-attractive colleague (who was outside the range of my peripheral-vision).
But for substantive grounds? lol Hell, no! Those actions were done for reasons utterly unrelated to what witnesses (even 'multiple witnesses'!) concluded.
The same mistake seems to be done in this case.
I think a little clarity is needed there. A girl wearing a choker, which is most females who do wear them, is a girl, and whether she's DTF or not, is still a child. They have been, and still are most common among children. If that's what you're chasing, oh boy, forget the choker, get a claw hammer and double tap that scrotum.
Anywho, assuming that was some miscommunication, or that you've already removed yourself from the gene pool, women wear them for a variety of reasons. I typically assume that if I do wind up in a situation where they want to have sex with me that they're more likely to be submissive, but it's a weaker link than averting the eyes, baggy clothing, so on and so forth.
Now a collar on a woman is a different story. Straight up start that conversation asking if she has a master first. You don't want her getting punished when she gets home because you didn't know what rules she abides by.
You used the term girl, and at least 3 of them look like they're under 12. Get that claw hammer, a solid table top, and something to bite down on. You know what you have to do.
Nah brah, if I'm wearing a choker than its for my man, if I had one, that dominates me in the bedroom so butt out of my foreplay, please. Can't speak for all women. Isn't everyone technically DTF naturally? I mean I would hope so. Even when the right circumstances are needed, you're still DTF.. so your assumption is technically correct but the choker is just irrelevant.
Girl not wearing a choker = DTF
Girl wearing a choker = DTF
Me wearing a choker = DTF/letting my man know what's happening later😉
I love watching hoes justify their hoe-ness
@Tomtom9090 How is she a hoe if she only wears it for her man? Jealous that he's getting head and you're not? 😂😂
@ilikefrogsalot as a female I dont expect you to accept your own actions as are.
@ilikefrogsalot No im ugly and gay, but chokers are for women who are whores. They like being claimed and choked. Which is what it signifies
@Tomtom9090 Dude, I couldn't give less of a shit whether you're gay or ugly. However, it makes sense that you're physically ugly because you have an ugly attitude as well. If I were to have sex with my one and only romantic and sexual partner, would it make me a hoe? Of course not, that's ridiculous. Everyone who's ever had sex would be a hoe then. You're not only gay and ugly, but you're a dimwit too. Remember, a choker is literally just a black strip of cloth.
@ilikefrogsalot Dude Im telling you idc if he's getting head and im not. Its bigger than your jealousy assumption.
And again, bitches and whores will justify their actions to put their selves at ease
Pipe down hoore
Tell us more 33 yr old angry catlady with crazy in your name 🙂
I'm not saying it's true, but every one of my friends that wears a choker is a total slut.
Hell yeah great for using and abusing and never loving or caring about.

This is just silly. Why did you invite me to this question? Lmao
That's like saying every guy who owns a tie works a corporate job.
Wearing a piece of clothing/accessory shouldn't signify anything to you and it is predatory thoughts like that which leaves women having to answer questions in sexual assault or r*pe cases as to the manner of clothing they were wearing.
Maybe stay on your side of the fence and stop breaking down every action a woman takes as a sexual suggestion.
Of course women are asked questions of the manner of clothing they are wearing, that's basic police work. If somebody stabbed me tomorrow I would have to answer questions about the manner of clothes I was wearing. Potential Witnesses and victims are asked questions to verify their story and assess if they are telling the truth. People are innocent until proven guilty.
That's not what I mean and you willingly dodged it. I mean the people who judge them including family members who question the women as if it were their fault. People asking them questions like why were you there, what were you wearing, or did you lead him on? It's like a woman can't just literally exist, walk where she wants, wear what she wants, talk to who she wants or change her mind about having sex before getting started/during if she originally consents. Maybe instead of blaming women and forcing them to cover up or not be out at certain hours we teach our men how not to assume ownership of any woman. To respect women and their right to just walk around without feeling like they are going to be prey to some guy who doesn't know the meaning of the word no.
Then you wake up to reality and realize that everyone in the world commits the grave sin of judgement. It's human nature
No not at all in today's time but through the course of history the choker was regarded as symbolic to identify a prostitute in some parts of Europe, in the 1800 - 1900. Also, in the world of BDSM a dom relationships. Doms would give his subs chokers or expensive jewelry as ownership almost as symbol of a ball gag. However it was worn for different purposes even for adornment through history. So that's where they got the idea from for the meme.
Yes can confirm the collaring ceremony side of things.
@siren777 funny and annoying as a collared girl deserves respect. Also totally misguided.
I would love to see the question asker say this to a real life collared sub, the majority would emasculate him (my Ex was did kickboxing and instructor level) submissive is often misunderstood.
Anyhow lol yes funny up to a point
What an absolutely ridiculous post! First of all chokers are primarily a fashion that’s popular with TWEENS. So, this whole thing has a massive PEDO stench! Second there is NOTHING a woman wears that “tells you” anything, because… Third, even if a woman wore a shirt with DTF of it, the ONLY thing that “tells you” is that she likes that fuckin’ shirt, you idiot!
Wow, replying to one a try stereotype is another.
Made for each other.
Notice after 24h how BOTH men AND women liked my answer, but only MEN disliked it! That’s extremely frightening!
The only thing it "tells you" is that they dislike your post, right?
Careful now, wouldn't want to go be a hypocrite here.
20 yr olds specifically college students make chokers popular.
Not tweens..
@PatriceONeal You’re an entire YEAR too late! Especially when you consider that fashions change 4 times a year… Spring fashion, summer fashion, fall fashion, and winter-wear! Yet somehow you feel fashion trends from last year are relevant today?
You know fashions are circular in that they never really go away... and no a year ago chokers were slutty and today they're still slutty..
@PatriceONeal To you, sir! To you they may appear “slutty” but certainly NOT to the young teenage girls and tweens who are the females who mostly wear them! It never fails to disappoint an disgust me that men in their thirties associate “certain” clothing or jewelry worn by minors as being indicative of their proclivity to engage in indiscriminate sexual activity! Even if it did (which it absolutely does not) what interest is that of you, a man in his thirties? Are you interested in having sex with children? Because if not, you’re certainly expending a lot of time and energy to prove a link between the children who wear these and their willingness to have sex! More than a YEAR after the question was posed?
Or here’s a novel thought: maybe she just likes how they look? Not everything is a statement, or sex related.
Tbh I always thought it was because she liked to get choked. So like the righter fit on the neck is also a comforting feeling for her. I don't know
You think any girls disagreeing with you are lying when they're the people you're actually talking about?
Do you think anyone cares what internet maidens have to say? It's always man hating and deflection. Women that wear chokers are typically whore / damaged goods. Sorry the truth hurts.
I found that the girls that look the least like freaks in the bed are exactly that. While those who only do vanilla stuff and sometimes not even that compensate by giving themselves the illusion that they're all about sex.
Basically: "A lion doesn't need to tell you he's a lion".
Why do men have to make everything sexual. It’s literally just a piece of jewelry
Maybe she just thinks it’s cute. It doesn’t have to mean anything other than she likes how it looks.
It's literally just a style choice? Are you brain dead?
@KrakenAttackin And Troons
@KrakenAttackin Aww look... It's the dumbass boomer again. Hello kraken! 😀🖕
@KrakenAttackin asexual bioromantic? What's that like Steve Austin?
"Gentlemen, we can rebuild her. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic woman. @Toast792 will be that woman. Better than she was before. Better -- stronger -- faster." Do do do do...
That’s not what it means stop sexualizing chokers gosh
Chokers are for sluts.
What a load of bullshit!! Dreamed up by some guy (s) to promote themselves!
27 years old yells BS and a non sense comment
Gets 8 likes by women.
GAG is just an echochamber for women to blow smoke up eachothers ass.
I wouldn't assume, I'd ask her. As a woman it could be for fashion/ accessory she likes or she's DTF, either way, she's probably not going to tell you, it's your job to figure it out 🤷🏽♂️ my SO wears it too, in our relationship, it's code for "I'm horny, let's fuck soon"
They are very nice to wear.
Didn't know it mean that.
A bit stupid really...
Uhm, no - those are just memes and have nothing to do with the truth. I've been wearing chokers since I was like 12, still do and I am a virgin. I just like how they look.
I can't believe this guy is 34 years old and thinks this is true. What a dummy.
@loveslongnails don't be like that brah
brah? Hey kid, you earned it LOL
@loveslongnails I think he's actually trolling. He's probably not 34 either lol
You're probably correct. Sounds like a 17 year old. No grown man talks like that, or thinks that.
So is it like a martial arts belt? You work up the colours until you get a black one?
@purplepoppy. Damn girl, you are without a doubt one of the funniest women I have known. You regularly crack me up!
@KrakenAttackin damn bro you a super simp. She regurgitated a joke made in the op.
@KrakenAttackin if you simp she still won't touch you. Wait 10 years or so when her ego subsides.
@PatriceONeal Ha! Ask around GAG about me to see how much of a simp I am.
It may just be because it’s a trend or they like choking. But I’m sure that it’s because it’s just a trend. But the quickest way for you to get anal sex and a blow job and really kinky sex is to hire a sex worker.
A lady of the night? An expert in her field? I mean we can be supportive, they are keeping the oldest industry alive.
I wear it on a regular basis, sometimes two or three at once, and being in the field of development/research, it gets an eye raise ngl 😅🤣 but yeah mostly that is one of the first things that guys notice and sorta call out on. They don't assume that I'm dtf, but they deffo make sure to mention how it's sexy. All. the. time
That's why you wear 3 at 31. Not for attention but for research..
Of course not, my younger sister wears chokers, she's in 6th grade. I don't think accessories and clothings have anything to do with this
Come back to me in a few years
No it doesn't mean that. Do you really believe that?
Or maybe they don't mean anything at all, and they're worn because those who wear them just like them. Why does everything have to 'mean' something these days?
Because everything has meaning princess
Did that make me a whore, because I wore collar in my Goth years?
Werd you gay for pay?
It means she's a tween who likes to pretend they were born in the 90's - seeing as that's 'in' right now.
I do not agree with that statemen what so ever. Who's to say a girl / woman wearing a choker is a Ho. Someone put false ideas into people's minds over the years, saying girls who wear chokers are sluts. There is no hard evidence to back up this theory.
to me chokers are a thing of the 90's where it was very common for pre-teens or young teens, so this statement is very disturbing xP
I used to wear chockers all the time as a kid in the 90s but didn't bother getting one as an adult.
@TacosRAwesome yeah, I had one because of the trend, but it was very uncomfortable to me, so I gave up on it early :P
Yeah and every guy with a tank in their pfp is asking to be shot in the dick
Most girls who wear chockers don't know there's a meaning associated to it so I'd say no.
Yeah... I feel weird wearing one, like being perceived that I’m into BDSM or something...
Yeah, but they look just great. 😂
No, the only way to find out is to talk to a woman. Even if she is looking for a partner, with your attitude, it's probably not you.
No way. I like chokers but I don’t spread my legs for everyone I like. In fact, I haven’t even had more than 2 bedpartners
The necklace Shoker is elegant, nice and classic.
If women wear Shokers didn't mean that.
That's meme are not funny.
Goth chicks are rarely DTF, kiddo.
You need to be packing some serious vibes to get any lovin from that group.
Everything you need to know about the opposite sex is not accurately conveyed by memes.
"Seems we all agree that a girl wearing one is a ho 4 show" Did we all agree to that? I thought that the overwhelming majority of respondents said you were totally wrong. Is this Field Of Dreams mentality?
Buddy I'd you build it she will cum.
Can a necklace just be a necklace?😂 These were popular with women when I was in high school, it didn’t signify anything then, doubt it does now either.
It means she is a hoe, but not quite as much as multiple piercings.
Lol 😆🤣😂
Now that's some real useless bullshit
what kind of people make such captions.. how jobless can they be?
Uh, no, it's a fashion thing.
They'll let you know if they're DTF. Trust me on this.
It’s a stereotype but I can understand why people make that assumption
It is none of our business if a girl wears a choker or not.
A good girl will be a good girl even if she sucked 1000 men and a bad girl will hurt others
No? It means she decided to wear a choker wha--bro, memes aren't a good source of facts.
yes i have experienced this too. they always fuck on command
but i still say take it off to make sure she doesn't have a scar underneath. if she does she's a ladyboy
Wearing something innocent as a pretty necklace is now something bad, can never enjoy a chocker again sad.
Everything is judged. You’ll need to either reconcile with reality or stop wearing clothes.
Are you stupid? Or just Stupid?
Chokes mean nothing!
If she has a collar with a lock on it, she’s owned! She has a Dom and she’d his slave.
Dot try to even go near her.
Nah I wore them in highschool but I was still a virgin and I still am :/ don't want to have sex before marriage.
I never heard of this before. I find it hard to believe.
Tattoo chokers are so common with teenagers again, that you really shouldn't read into it.
I have had girls wear chokers during sex because they wanted to be choked during sex and I was afraid to choke them

...
Are you that desperate for a blowjob that you'll turn an article of jewelry into a secret signal that sex is available? LOL
I’m liking you more and more! Thanks for shaming the INCEL. 😝
The fudge 😒 I like wesring choker it's my style and NO I'm not down to anything sexual
kinda like how wearing an earring in the right ear makes men gay
I didn't know they had a meaning. I just thought they liked the look
That’s an ignorant assumption.
Chokers are also used to hide Adams Apples in Trans individuals or grotesque Troons.
Form what I have seen, more like these girls are attention w**res
While this might be somewhat true, she ain’t fucking u bro.
No... consent means she’s DTF
So you’re a rapist then
nah you’re just a rapist
@GAG one of your users openly admitting to being a rapist here 🤨
I’m just curious who the “rapist” is? I’ve already blocked him so all I see is a grey line with “Reply by a user you blocked”! But I guess I understand why I blocked him though! LOL 😂
The user is @TheFlak38 :) I have him blocked as well cus he’s a creepy old man haha
@CrazyGirl2 ditto also blocked ages ago
seems like everyone has him blocked, that speaks a lot hahah
It’s also goes some for me to block them
no one likes you ya rapist, stop talking x
Thanks, I can’t even remember blocking him, he must have been one of those “one and done” guys! As in the first time I ever saw a post by him, I blocked him! Friggin looser!
Yep! Glad you managed to get him blocked, he’s a horrible person :)
@ChrisMaster69 Well if he’s the type to openly admit he doesn’t give a shit about consent, then I don’t blame you for blocking him, but seriously Chris I am very glad to know that you are the type of person to not tolerate that kind of crap!
Yeah, I can imagine just based on YOUR side of the conversation!
@CrazyGirl2 and pinky Anon. To me anyone not showing respect where due deserves it, then this type is an instant
Yeppp
@ChrisMaster69 Yeppp from me too.
Yep, he doesn’t seem like the nicest of guys. That doesn’t at all surprise me. It’s nice to see that others don’t tolerate his behaviour
A choker is a sex slave’s day collar, in the world of BDSM.
Hahahaha wtf no
No, consent still needs to be given speedy Gonzalez.
Well all those "memes" are all 100% created by men
