I'm the opposite I don't really bother opening someone's profile and blocking them, I've also been on the internet long enough to be used to people with different opinions and most things either don't shock me anymore nor do they bother me a lot anymore. If they do i just ignore it.
I only block somene on extremely rare occasions: if the person is stalking or harassing me after I've told them to stop several times. Which happens once a year at most.
I used to be addicted to arguing with people online even though it stressed me out. I wasted way too much time doing it. For the sake of my mental health I have to just block people who aren't arguing in good faith. I can handle a civil debate but if someone is trolling then I need to block them instead of wasting my time.
I only block rude disgusting people, people who lie, and people who block me! Which is mostly feminists who think I owe them something and degenerate rude guys who think they have a right to access me.
I haven't blocked a single person on here. Oh trust me, I've considered it and honestly I probably should with some of these DM's I get but then they win.

It's not all, but it is a very common thing. I grew up with five older sisters and no brothers. You learn to see the toxic traits females adopt and it's one reason I have many more male friends than female ones.
I usually block men that act like dicks or are annoying. Blocked? No problem anymore. No one is entitled to talk to me. I do find myself getting blocked pretty often too, I just don't get pissy about it. I don't owe anyone my time and no on owes me theirs.
Because from many female perspectives they have experienced many many men go from zero to 100 in like a very short period of time. No one wants to deal with verbal abuse which some men go very quickly to when they feel pissed off, rejected, in a bad mood, or inferior to the woman, youâd be surprised the level of men who suddenly go crazy. So women donât want to deal with this shit do block quickly. Who wants that energy in their aura, no one.
I'm not wasting my time arguing with people anymore. I used to hesitate to block people, but now I just don't have the patience for nonsense anymore. If I see you saying some ignorant shit, to the block party you go. If you insist on arguing, to the block party you go. My block party is free and anyone can go lol. On gag? For some reason you get more likes/dislkes and way more replies for having pink profile. I have no time for getting so many notifications. To minimiize that, i block people and i also block who attack me and insult me. I struggle with procrastination and maladaptive daydreaming and it gets worse when i always reply to these people since i am bad at ignoring people's replies

Other times that I will block all my ex boyfriend and other times it will people that overly aggressive or tried ask me out when I wasn't interested since they were all lazy ass. Because generally they don't argue with strangers, and can't argue, it's easier to block people that have your worldview challenged. It's easier to rationalize that others are wrong because you don't like them and just block then move on.
Unfortunately this applies to quite a lot of women. Comment something she strongly dislikes/disagrees with and she'll block you. Doesn't matter if it's a fact or opinion.

For example, after getting a license males are charged more than women because young men are MORE LIKELY to have accident than a young woman. When a business fucks over a man it's just statistics. However, when Walmart locks up their black products because blacks are MORE LIKELY to steal it's racist. Whenever a business hires whites/Asians because they're MORE LIKELY to have a higher IQ it's racist. Whenever more men are trained for leadership roles because they're MORE LIKELY to not quit their job in order to raise a family it's sexist. As long as it fucks over a straight white male it's fine, but God forbid that science shows that blacks have an average of 85 IQ or that they commit over half of the murders.
