I followed the girl I like on instagram and I've spoken to her heaps and wondered how long do girls wait before they follow the guy back.

If you are friends with her on Facebook she will probably add you on Instagram too, unless she has certain Instagram profile that is private but I don’t think so. There would be no negative reason if she doesn’t follow you back.
