I think that cute is a nice compliment.
When I think of my crush I would describe him as cute. Not that he resembles a child or anything. It is just that everything he does is attractive to me.
I wouldn’t go to a guy and say things like “oh you are so masculine.” Because it would be super weird as though I am attracted by his levels of testosterone.
