What does it mean when a woman says you look sweet?

It was an unsolicited compliment, I never gave an indication of interest. A girl at my job told another coworker I look sweet and was inquiring on my relationship status/age, wanted her to put in a good word. Also she says a boyfriend which through me off.

Well if she has a southern drawl, and said sumtn like: “well, don’t you look sweet!” Then with southerners, they mean you look stupid,. (or maybe silly, but unless she has shown you very obviously that she’s into you, it doesn’t mean silly)

I'll try to talk to her about it. She told me when I asked her about it that she has a boyfriend, but she just wanted to tell me. I don't know if she has other plans she didn't want me to know about or what.
