What’s with the extra attention?

I work in a back office and normally nobody sees me and rarely speaks to me. But in today’s age and boredom sometimes. Someone found my social media at work and now all of a sudden many of my male colleagues want to speak to me or see me. I don’t dress obscene outside or at work. But when I clean up I am pretty attractive if I do say so myself. I am embarrassed though because I have people at work looking at my profile picture. Is it best to deactivate? Opinions? How would you handle it?

Are you sure it's from social media? Perhaps just a coincidence with the timing? But like others say, if you don't like the attention, then put your profile to private (you can control who sees it), or just get rid of it all together.

Be happy and confident. Don't think of it too much if you're not doing anything to embarrass yourself. Set it to private if you feel uncomfortable. Enjoy the attention and make friends.
