Girls, Why would a girl be randomly smiling at nothing?

I noticed as I was talking to someone she was randomly smiling at nothing. I wasn't talk to her but as I started walking towards her I saw she had this random smile on her face. She wasn't completely staring me, but I got it was invitation to say hello to her. Which I did and she was happy

Whenever someone I'm interested in comes around I can't help but smile cause I love their presence... Maybe the girl was just happy you're around 😚

The other day she waved and smiled at me when we locked eyes. But today she had this random smile on her whilst making coffee. This time I said hello to her and asked how she is. I technically don't know her but for some reason our interactions are like we know each other

She was probably thinking of a found memory in her head and started to smile unknowingly to herself, it's not rare thing

So she starts smiling at nothing. She was literally talking to no one and in was getting my order by someone else. The other waitress goes to check something and it was just her and I at the counter and she starts randomly smiling for no reason. But she isn't looking at me

She may be shy like I am. I do this all the time when my crush is around. I’m scared to talk and make eye contact with him (especially smiling straight at him unless I have to like when I’m giving him his order) most of the times, so I just direct my smile elsewhere

She did wave and smile at me when we locked eyes the other day. She was again on the coffee machine but not actually serving me. So she didn't have to wave and smile at me

Ok new update. So today in the distance I looked up and she was looking at me. Hey eyes widened with a big smile on her face and waved to me
