I've never personally asked for one, but have been offered to have them sent to me... or sometimes not even asked if I want it first.

I'd say, it probably COULD happen, but it could also just be a guy pretending to be a girl. It could also just be someone looking to collect photos to post somewhere else. Just be careful with it.
