Because double standards are actually a thing! To be fair, I can’t think of anything that I’ve stolen from my ex’s. Well not clothes anyway! I mean I may still have his car, and his mothers engagement ring somewhere around here, but…
The reason that society looks down on men who wear their girlfriend/wife’s clothes, or underwear and not the other way around, is antiquated and narrow minded. It’s not anything I believe, or care about.
But for those who DO care, it’s because of the belief that 1) Men are strong and 2) women are weak…. Therefore, when a woman wears her boyfriend’s shirt or boxers it is an expression of HIS strength. As if by wearing it we become stronger by default. However, since “2) women are weak,” a man wearing his wife’s or girlfriend’s blouse or panties, is a de facto expression of his weakness! So by wearing her clothes, he lowers his status in society from that of strength to weakness! It’s similar to the men who dressed as women to get off the Titanic, or later dressed as women to avoid military service! It’s a symbol of weakness & cowardice! With thus, the mystery is unfolded!

I often times like wearing his shirts because they smell like him. I nearly never wear them out of the house though as my preferred wardrobe is very feminine. While my husband couldn't fit in my clothing. womens clothes are not really designed for men to wear. for example the inseam distance on women's jeans vs mens jeans is 5 inches shorter... due to the fact that women don't have 5 additional inches of genitalia hanging down there. like I don't understand how cross dressers and transsexuals wear panties. my husband on a joke. funny enough over this very topic. not this one specifically but I was wearing one of his shirts and stained it. he asked me how I would feel about him wearing my clothes and fucking them up. I said to him something like " well if you can fit into them knock your self out" he tried on a pair of my panties and had dick and balls popping out everywhere. lol
I like to wear womens tights, they feel really comfortable on but mention it to a woman and mostly they have a negative reaction to guys wearing pantyhose. They think it means that the guy in question is less of a man, looks strange, and guys shouldn't do that sort of thing. Ironically, these are often same women who will put on their boyfriend's/husband's shirt and boxers and walk around the house expecting him to think she looks adorable. Imagine her horror and dismay if their boyfriend/husband responded with "That's disgusting, take that off, you look like a man!"
Imagine if women were told they only couldn't wear their boyfriend's or husband's shirt, and they also would no longer be allowed to wear pants of any kind in public. Women would be up in arms. Yet guys are not suppose to wear women's pantyhose that most likely be seen by others.
I'd like to know that myself 😂

I don’t think it would be very attractive if I saw my boyfriend wearing a dress or something he couldn’t even fit a leg or arm into. It wouldn’t be comfortable for him. Lol
Whereas, if I’m wearing his old tshirt, its super comfortable, and I look decent in it and he likes the way it looks on me.Haha, this is rare for 2 reasons- most men can’t fit in women’s clothing, and most women’s clothing is unique and feminine.
women wear a ton of stuff guys do like tshirts, shorts, jeans, etc. but men don’t wear many women’s garments like bras and dressesI like wearing his t-shirts or boxer shorts because they are comfortable. He has never worn anything of mine. No chance in hell a single thing I own would fit him. I'm tiny and he is big. Just not a possibility.
Sir. I am 5'4 and 120 lbs on a fat day. My husband is 6'5 and 230. If I wear his clothes they don't get stretched out. He can't even fit one leg in my pants.
Obvious answer is obvious. He would be welcome to wear some high-waisted jeans and women's church event t-shirts if he wants to. I've never seen a guy in high-waisted jeans... wonder if it'd look old or hot.
When I dated I was far too small for my boyfriend to fit into my clothes…could be one reason.
oversized clothes are comfy, tight clothes aren’t 😭 I don’t know why a guy would wanna do that to himself.I had only once worn a shirt from my ex, cause I had nothing to sleep with me and it was great cause it smelled like him! Loved it and he did wanted to gift it to me, but I refused lol
I wear hubby's clothes cause it smells like him and it feels like he's holding me. If he wore mine he'd stretch them out, he can wear me though!
His clothes are comfy and smell like him. He’s never tried to wear anything of mine. It wouldn’t fit him.
His clothes smell like him and they're just his clothes that make it so special. He wouldn't fit in mine because I'm small.
First of all i wear 80 pounds and he would literally rip them in half if he tried
I can't come up with a time any guy was wearing any of my clothes.
What is his, is mine. :3
He won’t be able to fit in my clothes. I am small…lol
@LEADFOOTboi Babe, wanna try my crop top on? 🥴I don't know to mini guys that can fit in their girlfriend's clothes a small on womans
isn't the as a small on the men'sDepends on what he borrows. My ex and I used to swap jeans all the time because we wore same size. T shirts and hoodies are also fine.
If my girlfriend wants to wear my stuff go right ahead. It'll fit her fine & it doesn't look terribly weird seeing a girl wearing guys clothes. However, there's no way I gonna put on my girlfriend's bra or anything, that's just weird
Because his hoodies smell like him. 😌
Because none of my stuff would fit him. 🤣Not personally no- I’d worry about what part about it looks silly tho!
Neither really none my style. If I had to choice it be the first picture.
He'll wear my bras on occasion to be funny
