Anyone, regardless of gender can be "nasty". That is a personality trait not exclusive to one gender. That is a personality trait that anyone can have. Being a nasty person usually has to do with the person's dislike of their life or themselves.

They project this onto others in an attempt to make themselves feel better. Ultimately, they just lead themselves further into being a nasty person and alienating others because of it.

Now, are girls nasty? Yep, there certainly can be girls that are like this. However, be careful not to generalize an entire gender, male or female, because of a few people you have had negative experiences with. That just isn't fair.
