I wasn't a cheerleader, but I ran track and played varsity volleyball. Volleyball uniform is, in my opinion, flashier than cheerleaders for the sole reason that the spanx used are skin tight and show the shape of EVERYTHING! Some of us, myself included, had some lip slips if you catch my meaning

I’m not sure what a lip slip is but I’ve always wondered if you wore underwear under those shorts

Lip slip, as in we'd have a coichie lip (labia) out. Those shorts ride up a lot and you'd get the classic buttcheek sticking out a bit which is fine. But sometimes it's a lip and you pray it doesn't happen during a game when everyone's around.

You're supposed to wear underwear with them. But sometimes you don't

When I was on the cheerleading team in high school we used to pants each other a lot as a prank, we pretty much always wore spandex under our skirts so it wasn’t really a big deal. Some girls just wore their panties underneath so it was more embarrassing for them almost flashing their butts. One of the captains pantsed one of the newer girls one day but she accidentally got a hold of her underwear too and pulled everything down together so everyone at the track saw her bare butt. The girl was totally embarrassed about it because a couple boys were there and saw her naked and we all stopped after that
