What is a woman's place?

I take a biblical perspective. So I believe there are two general places, that have different requirements (or sub-places). These two places are single or married.

a single woman is called to more than idleness. She is told to use her freedom in singleness to the glory of God: being active and industrious in her church community, pouring care and love into others, and remaining pure.

Married women are called to support their husband's. They should also take on some things that single women do, but married women have a primary obligation to their family as a homemaker.

I do honestly need to look more into if the homemaker bit is biblical though. From personal experience though, I find homemaking moms are generally happier than career-focused moms. Plus working is good for guys, so a wife's pressure on her husband to provide will push him to higher standards and achievement.

One major thing is that guys are meant to be spiritual heads of the family.

The Bible is clear with the role between husband and wife.

Husbands are called to love their wives just as a perfect man (Jesus) loved his wife (the church).
Wives are called to submit to their imperfect husband's.

Both are supremely difficult: perfecting your love, and submitting to an imperfect person. That's what's beautiful. Both work together, to build a family and worship God, through this arrangement for two imperfect people to become one.

It depends on the woman. Some (possibly most) are happiest in the traditional wife and mother role (or at least mostly in it); some are happiest going into politics; some in the workplace. It's kind of silly to assume that one demographic category will have absolutely EVERYONE in it best in one position.
